So… Chunny’s hyakuretsukyaku is indeed, QCF+K, yes?
I just find it hard to believe, since her Super is HCF and all.

it does feel weird at first but it actually feels more useful. i was using nina as my partner at first but i might end up using asuka. i wouldn’t think of doing a log for this game since every build was all over the place in terms of properties and damage.
Pandora Tech from eventhubs featuring our gal Chun.
Cool note Chun’s Super Art goes thru pojectiles like Hosenka (don’t forsee you able to dash-SA though but with a HC motion, I mean come on–that is awesome)
(@ 4: 00-ish mark ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aen4A05IwO4&feature=player_embedded#!
at first wasn’t sure on the range it had but when Ryu sacrfices himself for Chun to go into Pandora mode aganis’t another Chun’s Kikouken and range of her Super art looks like Hosenka’s. (@ the 4:50 mark) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDWPNkxU7vQ&feature=player_embedded#!
On top of at that at 2:10 it seems like all hits of :hk: SBK will connect this time around. Unlike SF4
EDIT: also around 3:40 it looks likes Chun’s SBK has the same properties as Kens tatsu on opponent in a juggle state
still a decent meter builder as well.
note – not sure if it was the same video or another video on his page; a Chun A/A jump in with DF L/K, the player followed up pretty nicely with St. Lp, St. Mp but sadly continued with a launcher attempt. I would certainly like to test St. Mp xx into LL or Kikouken for continued pressure. These are the very things I’ve been writing down in my bored time. Another quick note from the videos I watched from this guy is the Cr. Mk can be canceled into LL. So a good BnB carry over from the SF4 series (cr. lk, cr.lp, cr.mk xx EX LL) will continue to work SF X T without the need for EX version. So that can setp up tag in opportunities or canceling into her SA. Still very curious on the frame data on Cross Arts, if the same moves can be canceled for bigger damage at the cost of 3 bars instead of 2.
All my theory/notes is Chun specific right now but I’ll work on Ibuki (probably my main partner) for other opportunities.
An entire batch of newer vids for ya.

I think Chun will be pretty strong in this game. I’m definitely gonna try to put her in first my team.
LL look very good in combos, blockstrings and as a poke canceled from st.mp
Her normals will probably be as good as usual and here there’s no risk of getting crumpled by Focus Attacks.
SBK will be awesome for tagging in you parter and land big combos (maybe you even have the time to jump-in before the sbk ends)
And Super and hasanshu to go past fireballs.
hasanshu’s are probably going to be risky though, since launchers have lower body invincibility, good players will start to counter them on reaction pretty soon.
Just about to post that myself, although the dude clearly isn’t a Chun player to understand how different she is in SF X TK
especially considering he does an interesting move at 2:10 that couldn’t be done in SF4
apparently her MK stomps have different properties – maybe similar to 3rd Strikes?
I’m wondering if you can do an instant head stomp and follow it up with her TCHP or possibly get all three stomp on a character like Hugo, which would be like 3rd strike.
another change a guy like this wouldn’t understand is with LL being motion based I wonder if doing EX Legs into EXSBK will be possible this time around. You may not have enough charge to pull it off.
Huh? You could do two 2 stomps like that in SF4. You could even get 3 on big chars. I just think they have better hitboxes in SFxT. Also stomp into TCHP comboed on sagat atleast.
Regarding the last combo, its probably not possible. But using 2 ex bars like that in SFxT is such a waste, she could just do EX legs Tag cancel and even build som meter back that way. Meter is just so important in this game because everything you can do.
Does anyone know what version of hasanshu is comboable in SFxT? I have seen non-ex hasanshu both knock down and followed with a c.jab into combo.
I love how they made all her SFIV useless to piano mashing moves more viable in SFxT Will make using her on my crappy keyboard a little easier now thank god. I wonder how effective her non-EX SBK will be for locking opponents into block strings? Gonna go pray now for her alt 1 costume to be included in this game
Is it me or chun li’s thighs got smaller Im SFxT Compared to SF4 lol
I’d say her thighs did get smaller probably her hit boxes were too OP or something so they nerfed her legs. Anyways her cr.mk looks really weird…like the foot doesn’t hit opponents…and it technically should because her cr.mk moves her leg foward…so it should be part of the hitbox… Imma gonna play her 3rd strike style lol build lots of meter and do cr.mk into SA XD
Her thighs still have the same size and that’s good if you ask me. That’s why I love her so much, lol. <3
As much as I love talking about Chun’s thighs and other anatomical portions of her physique I do want to take a second and say congrats to
Sheeryjenix, hopefully she’ll continue her tradition of playing Chun and we’ll get to see some good footage from her during Cross Assault
probably you’ll have to cancel into ex sbk from a chain (maybe c.mp xx c.hp xx ex sbk)
anyway, in one of the earlier videos they showed ex legs, st.mp xx EX kikoen, so at least you probably can do that.
i praticed for so long to get the legs imputs down in sf4
capcom was like pffft thats shits to hard for most people
feels like wasted time atm lol
??? Sherry is a C.Viper player.
Yes I found that out after posting it, I had her confused with someone else! haha
chun/ken and chun/vega seems like it’ll have some pretty sick tag combos considering they have special moves that don’t knockdown. combine that with the meter build gems, i can see teams comprised of chun, ken, vega doing some nasty combos in this game (not to mention, easy chun/ken_vega scramble mode infinites)…unless damage scales like a bitch. -_-
