oh wow thanks mate that’s really bright I’ll think about it, been watching some mudbox vids on youtube but frankly I have a workflow in my mind and don’t fancy switching to an entirely new program… also XSI SoftImage Mod Tool is free and legal, I don’t want to spend in the thousands on software for a single tribute character.
I’ve been dealing with a load of haters, all day, I’m gonna need a little break now, just a little one

ok well here’s another picture then, I basically made some edges that make up the eye, it makes it easier to get a feel for the entire character and what needs to be done to the facial area, hair etcetc that is a big improvement because it somehow makes it easier, the more easily understandable references there are, the easier seems it is
I’ll probably do Sakura as well, but not before I’m done with Chun-Li, thinking the experience will make that easier already know stuff about simple texturing I didn’t know before
The idea is to make a little game, that tells the intro story for Chun-Li, better than what is in Super SFIV in the arcade mode, sort of like this >

update. Decided to go with the kind of eyes that are in the anime version rather than more realistic eyes, also somehow to make a mouth like that, but it will be a challenge to animate it properly but also great joy
