thats the thing you all gotta decide when to come. I mean its the community that dictates where all the competition will be.
The reason why SD’s Tekken community thrives so much cause we plan when to be there. Also we have dedicated players who want to get better, and the best way to do that is to play others.
Really Gamelords is a good thing for SD’s fighting game community. Everyone just has to get there and play.
Also if you’re looking for good Tekken competition. Gamelords. I’m sure some of us will accept money matches. 2o3, ft5, w/e

Only reason i never went to chula much was cuz the buttons and sticks were always crappy plus no competition. If things are a lot better now ill consider it more often
Its pretty much the same way you just discribed it now lol. i saw we try to get gamelords to be the new mvc2 3s cvs2 , whatever hotspot. that place is smokin and needs the popularity, lets get the players and make it THE scene. i know it can be done.
chula sticks aren’t even emortely as bad as they were back when you used to go there franky, one of the employees there fixes the marvel machine asap, if that wasn’t the case I wouldn’t bother going there, I dunno for me Id rather go somewhere thats close by to get some rounds in with the regulars there, sides too many bars around the mission bay area to just hit up belmont.
The sticks arent that bad at mission. I go there regularly and if anything breaks i know the guys who can just open it up. They have convex buttons now. Just no cvs2 yet. Ill encourage them to get it. They have mvc2, tekken 5, ggxx (not reloaded) cvs1, svc chaos, virtua fighter the new one, sc2, initial D, and some other stuff.
