There was a Round 1 Fight movie I have seen recently which seems to have many Vega scenes but I haven’t been able to find the movie. Which one are you referring to?
Outside of Japan it’s called ‘Street Fighter II Animated Movie’, in Japan it’s called ‘Street Fighter II Movie’.
Realeased I believe in 1994…it’s hands down the greatest film based on Street Fighter.
If you’ve never had the pleasure I strongly suggest watching it. Absolute classic.
The portrayal of Vega is flawless, like I said the animators and writers were spot on.
The reason I have character loyalty is this movie.
This, I always tell people if they want to watch a Street Fighter Movie this is the one to watch.
Some of it doesn’t make sense, but it’s honestly the best we got.

There is a huge difference between the subtitles on the original Japanese video and the English dubbing. I wonder which one is accurate. And why the hell does he lose? That woman should already faint after all that beating. Making the evil ones lose everytime >:(
Both the Japanese and English dubs are excellent, the voice cast on both sides give amazing performances.
Personally, I pick the Japanese version in terms of enjoyment of the overall movie, but the English dub specifically for Vega and Chun’s fight. Fucking KMFDM. It’s like they made that song ‘Ultra’ specifically for this scene. It goes perfect with the fight. That song will forever bring to mind Vega and Chun.
Yeah it sucks about being dropped kicked out of the 93rd floor of a building but we have no proof he really died. And in their fight intro in SF4 doesn’t Chun tell Vega, ‘Aren’t you supposed to be dead?’ so…who knows?
He did fuck her up good and put her in a coma though.
It’s laughable that Guile was coming to ‘rescue’ her too. Vega would made short work of that idiot and really had a casualty. Bison takes care of Guile later but for some odd reason has mercy and doesn’t kill him…maybe to continue fucking with him later. Remember, Bison doesn’t die in the movie either.
Very last scene in the movie is fucking bad-ass. Bison in a semi.
Can’t beat that.

Still, falling from that high up, something probably broke his fall or because He was still conscious when he got booted he probably came to his senses and caught himself on something.
I call either those options or my little version of splatting on the ground real hard, breaking A LOT of bones and needing lots and lots of medicalness applied later XD.

Just in case anybody has not seen this yet…just a couple of coments at 0:40 that’s the comand grab vega deserves to scape corners…the animation does`nt look quite as well as it did to me when i was 9 but anyway…the english dub is awful particulary the guy playng vega i did’nt had to suffer this cause i watched it in spanish…the guy who edited the video did a good job at putting the actual fight together since this anime suffered from a lot of repetition and filling material
