Wow people just get off on psyche destroying punishments dished out by self-hating parents that I forget what website I’m on. I actually felt sorry for the kid, he’s in China… CHINA, with an obviously d-bag father and no outlet other than working to death. Chinese parents exaggerate the hell out of things, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that kid does actually do his chores and schoolwork. It’s just the act of enjoying himself sends his contemptuous father into a fit of rage.

I mean how many times have we all disobeyed our parents outright to go hang out in an arcade and play fighters or sneaked our Gameboy to play Pokemon or something? This kid was essentially doing the same thing. I don’t see how this kid is horrible because of that.

Does the kid need to be punished for his disobedience? Yes. But all this going to do is make him resent is father who will probably die old and alone.
