We were both so nervous we couldn’t do shit.
I was mad nervous so I couldn’t trijump, so no ROM no five fierce, I couldn’t even do tempest combo.
Even when I had openings I just stayed back and blocked.
I would fuck up a tempest combo and the tempest would hit because Phocus would mash thinking I could actually do tempest combos.
I would trijump, but instead of trijump, tempest would come out and Phocus would get hit (wtf?). I would also be choking on hail most of the time, even though I would see that shit coming I still mashed assist like an idiot instead of knocking storm out.
The final score was also 10-4 I think. After I left storm and sent and picked cable I don’t remember losing.
I played like a bitch and turtled the whole time, not something I’m proud of. I ended up using cable/commando because I was so off, when my main is MSP and Matrix.
We were both off our games, I don’t think there is any point of asking anyone who was there for them to tell us that we both sucked. Like you said, I would fuck up everything but get lucky with random shit, but all the matches were close. Like that commando vs commando pixel win and that cable vs commando pixel win because my lp viper beam out beat your fire. Also I remember my sent and you commando both had no health but because sent has more defense when we traded I won that match too. So yea, the matches were real close.
As for advice, your sent + anti air is great Phocus, that was basically what destroyed all my teams. You need to work on storm and get her trijumps down, some rounds that trijump with her had me like wtf and I just let go of the stick, but you were nervous and fucked up the dhc, which I never saw you mess up before. When you picked cable those were basically free wins for me because cable doesn’t do well against people who block.
I don’t think I can get seriously back into Marvel. Every time I get half decent at it and leave it for 4 months I have to start from scratch. At least in 3S parrying is natural to me and gets me free wins with any char basically.
Not this Friday, but starting next Friday you can come to my college and I can teach you 3S and GG and w/e else you want to learn. Maybe I’ll learn MvC2 on console, but right now MvC2 got me depressed. In anything sports at will I can greatly increase my strength, speed, agility, etc. In Marvel, when Robot is stomping all over my face with that Captain fag assist like no matter what I do I can’t get him off me. Meh w/e, I might post later but I’m not in the mood to play marvel for a while. I felt guilty winning when I know you’re a better player than me (one of reasons why I gave you half back). I didn’t think we would both be under so much pressure. Anyways, I need a break from Marvel.

yeah I went. it was alright. 12 people and I got 3rd (money back). lost to romantic (may player 2nd place at springfest) and then some ky. I learned that I need to fucking kill every ky on this planet. stun edge spam + air dash back j.hs is kinda gay.

You should focus on what you did wrong for now and how to improve so that the situation doesn’t repeat itself.
It must be a pain for you to play someone who has no idea what he’s doing and always mess up but also get lucky some how all the time and still win. Luck is a factor you shouldn’t rule out. Just because I got lucky this time, doesn’t mean I won’t get lucky next time as well. Train more to be ready for my luck.
