hey guys, i m thinking of setting up a “jon needs money for japan” tourny at my crib, it would be a $5 tourny and $5 ~ $10 house fee. there would be a 20 person cap.
i have one h2h set up that goes from room to room(one is on a 19 inch with plug-ins for a headphone and the other on a 27 inch).
separate TVs include another 27 inch and a 15 inch, these can also be hooked up h2h but not room to room, so i would recommend making each a 3s set up for 3 set ups total. i have a vcr for recording and two pc converters if you wanna play 3s on the pc with someone. also, there are two HRAP stands made of red oak, so you can use it if you want. i was wondering what anyone thought of the idea, and suggestions would be great.
basically a glorified gathering of players.
Sounds like a good idea, and it’ll be in a house so dudes can drink/smoke and shit, maybe even call some hoes over lol, who knows.

yo how do i get to cf from flushing, near northern boulevard, i can get to main street pretty quick (10 minute bus ride) but it doesnt matter~ what trains specifically.

here is the subway map. http://www.mta.info/nyct/maps/submap.htm I guess you could jump on the 7 to grand central and then transfer to something like the 6 train and take that down to canal street. then once on canal just walk to cf. I never can remember the cf address though so I can’t help you there.
just take the fob bus, it goes directly across the street from CF for 2.50.
its right by the starbucks on main street, go on main street and walk towards the opposite direction of northern blvd. all the buses there goto chinatown

To think using the fob bus in Flushing would be more kosher if you didn’t have to wait for an extra 10-20 minutes so it can start its trip. Either way it’s an investment.

**yes but there’s one problem: few buttons don’t work in the left side of the arcade machine. It’s been on some wear and tear, but likewise people play it and don’t know how to stop mashin/stompin/button beating as if they can’t do anything else.
Normally I go there to practice n ish, but like I said it’s at their mall which is about 3 block away from their train station.
FYI: Sergio caught 27 wins last Sat w/ his Oro…After he left I caught 13 and bounced cause people were bitchin n moanin when one side started to act wrong (again!?)
Oh and I heard people went Friday for the RANBAT when I already told them it was supposed to be in SATURDAY…
Anyway, I’ll make it up this Friday…
