LOL, I was at Chinatown Fair last thursday afternoon. I’m not from New York, nor was I ever a serious competative player, but I used to follow SRK, and happened to be visiting my friend from college who now lives down the street from CF. I ended up getting locked out when I was going next door to get my toothbrush after just waking up, and my friend wasn’t answering his cellphone, so I was stuck with nothing to do but go play in CF for a few hours till my friend called me back.
Was anyone from SRK there? If so, I was the white guy with the unkempt Johny Cash/Morrissey/Travolta hair cut and the blue button down shirt (which I had not taken off from the grad party the night before) going back and forth between 3S, CvS2, and T5. I didn’t play well at all (I’m used to using console gamepads), I was just wondering if I played any SRKers while I was there. :looney:

apparently i have no idea what justin wong looked like, and he handed me my ass on a platter on some other dudes off rounds. i was the urien who basically threw 8 dollars at the machine with a Q player doing just as bad.
also if you have any constructive critcism to my game that would be nice besides “dont do mk tackle” because i figured that out after the second one.
I was there today and I got like 5 wins (OH MAN IM TOTALLY KEEPING COUNT) and one guy playing Chun-Li got so mad that I beat (with Q) that he fucking ELBOWED the cabinet’s speaker and indented it halfway in. Damn.

anyway, i showed up rather late at cf last night. im kinda mad about missing out on playing random jap players. Oh well, maybe there will be a ‘next time’.
the night managed to redeem its self w/ the “LOW-TIER/SEAN POVERTY HOUR!!!”. on the big cab everyone had this sudden interest in choosing low-tier for the rest of the evening. nothing but sean mirror matches and occasional Q’s, elenas, remys. the whole shit was isanely entertaining.
now it has me thinking…i declare that on friday evenings the cf regulars should dedicate an hr to just SEAN!!
some of those matches seriously should have been recorded.

Since I dont think that I wont be able to stay at CF longer than 4/5 on weekdays (have too much shit to do now) this would be a good time to find out if anyone so going to be at CF early this upcoming week. Maybe some money matches to make it worthwile?
