There is still hope for me. Ive actually beat a few scrubs this week(before i couldnt beat anyone). Now I’ll just slowly move myself up the chain…

and since when were the sticks so damn loose? I do a down parry and end up super jumping because of it.

within two days I managed to go from facing random scrubs to facing Justin Wong. :looney: Yes i was feeling brave. My execution needs alot of work.

The only person i played yesterday was justin. I was the guy with a skully hat and glasses playing Alex.

Sean doesn’t really have any strategies though, he’s like a parry and hit type of character. I tried using him in 3S, because I used to be real good with him in 2I (even though he just was a good character in it), but he’s just not the same in 3S.

I don’t like the sticks on either of the machines now, I couldn’t do certain things like grab/tech grab, block low too often, and some other stuff. I think 3S is getting more popular in CF than it ever has, thus more people coming in to play… and you know a lot of newbies come in the morning, so they probably wreck the sticks. I hope they fix them soon, because the slightest error throws my game off, and I don’t want to play anymore, and if I continue playing, I lose because I’m mad at the stick. Argh, double edged blade for my favorite game in my favorite arcade lol.

I know what you mean about those sticks. I just went to CTF for the first time a few weeks ago and I couldn’t do anything on those sticks. It was horrible. I’ve been spoiled from playing on a custom Sanwa lately.And going from that to those crappy Happs at CTF was real bad. I’ve been going more often to get more used to the stiks so I can actually have some offline comp.

I’ve wanted to know this too.

But for the opposite reason, i’ve been using the sfac stick for god knows how long and when i play on ctf cabs (more specifically the jap) i did things that i actually meant to do!

aparently they’re P360s (there used to be stickers saying so on the machines, dont know where they went…), over the course of the last year the springs in the sticks have gotten very loose.

Yo, sup! I just wanted to drop in and thank the Chinatown 3s crew for showin me what was up in NY. I had a good time, and next time I’m in town i’ll give more notice and show up on Friday. For those of you who were there on Sunday, I was the big Black guy named Louis who was playing with Akuma, doing hell of Demon Filp grabs and Raging Demons all day and getting excited about nothing.
