to be fair though if you read chinese comments about black people on their media, it’s not much different from stupid shit you’ll read on youtube or 4chan here; here a few examples

it’s a dog eat dog world. the difference here is that instead of the dog eating another dog, the eater happens to be human but i believe that saying is still fair game.
honestly dudes, different strokes for different folks. think about the shit that’s eaten here in the states (chitlins) and [S]people[/S] rednecks eating shit like roadkill or any other animal they find and think might taste good.
edit: not to say that i am for the cooked alive aspect of anything beyond seafood (lobster<3), but as far as eating dogs goes i can’t say i would take up arms and fight someone who does it. i’m not for it, nor would i do it, but if you need to eat and that is your option? niggas gotta eat.
on the flip side, if i were walking around the hood and i saw some dude with a (live) dog tied up and on some kind of rotisserie? we might have some words for animal cruelty. by words i mean a blackjack to the cranium.

But because those in america (only maybe 15% of whom can actually AFFORD them) who romanticize them because of the “cowboys, injuns and settlers” period consider them to be pets (everyone else just considers them livestock that they either would eat out of curiousity, or wouldn’t eat because they’ve had said culture of cowboy-horse idolization insinuated upon them while growing up, or because they’ve never eaten it, and are too inflexible in their eating habits as adults to consider horse a food), the one horse ranch that also butchers them out in Texas has no customers in the US, and has to export to Europe and Japan, while we’re stuck with this drugged-up beef. Enough horses are put down every year to easily provide healthier meat to everyone, and cheaper than beef, since it’s not as in demand yet. Once it’s considered a “delicacy” here, then the price will be artificially inflated…much like the lobster, which was killed and discarded by the thousands, considered the roach of the sea by English settlers, and thought to be too “ugly” to eat. NOW look at that shit.
Yeah, I’m fully aware of the overall racist/xenophobic tendencies of the Chinese, hence my apprehension about going there, but it’s funny about the unwashed black people comment. I wonder if these were the same Chinese who lived at my dorm and smelled like old fish and wet dog.

a half japanese/white guy told me that japanese people are the most racist people on earth and most korean/chinese people are the same, i told him i assumed he’d have it easy because he’s half white and he just laughed. two years later i had the experience of living with chinese foreign students at my dorm and he was right, lol.

I think the main argument people want to make is that it disturbs them if a large animal vocalizes its will to live when you’re trying to prepare it.
for example, i doubt anyone gives a shit if a small mouse dies or how. or if someone they have absolutely no connection to is eating a mouse sandwich. but if a cow, large an animal as it is, screams its fucking head off in its native tongue “***I DON’T WANNA DIE!!! DON’T KILL ME FUCK THIS SHIT, LET ME OUTTA THIS BITCH!!*********” then that makes people uncomfortable. doubt a lobster or a crawfish has as powerful a yell as a cow
