Every thing Machinedrum touches is gold:

I came. This is outstanding.

^ More like a small film but this was a haunt. So good.

^ A vaporwave ‘hit single.’

^ Volvo ftw. Seriously this is dope.

Falls down

^ I came.

one of my favorite vaporwave albums ever

I’ve been hovering around Vaporware, I know i’ve said it before but it’s been becoming seriously apparent that 90% is garbage. Mostly obscure songs with barely any editing or additions.

People like S U R F I N G are the only “Vaporware/Vaporwave” artists that I genuinely appreciate because they actually churn out something fresh and new from something old.

Just listen to this turnaround they pulled off.

Original song from the 80’s:

The song they made from a sample(not even a cheap copy paste of the entire song):

A sound like nothing else.

the genre is just too accessible to creaters and the definition is sooo broad that pretty much anyone can make it.
i love vaporwave ,but yeah 90 percent is gonna be garbage and having to sift through all of it can be quite exhausting

supposedly surfing should be coming out with some new music soon.
i have heard that album 70+ times and still haven’t gotten tired of it.
killed a man has to be the best endings to an album i’ve ever heard.
it just lets the smooth sounds ride on with subtle sounds growing more powerful with each repetition then slowly fades.
deep fantasy brings a tear to my eye every time.

I don’t know if my mind and body are ready.

I do know I’m going to pre-order the fucking cassette asap, because Deep Fantasy only released like 70 of them and no one is selling their copy, and if they were they’d probably jack the price up because it’s such a niche collectors item.

Vaperror is also someone who pumps out good music.

Sounds a bit like Plastikman/Richie Hawtin.

Probably my favorite album of 2014(especially the Sampha tracks), I still think it deserved more recognition.

vaporwave/rap

A long time favorite of mine.

Has so many good and interesting elements, definitely a “close your eyes and listen” kind of song.

I came. This is bliss.

surfing is back on bandcamp and you can get deep fantasy in better quality.

^Good looking out.

Still wish I could get one of those damn cassettes though.
