Yep, I wrote that correctly. Im a man on a mission to discover what setups help Chickenwing Crossup. So Instead of accidentally finding them, I plan on writing each and every setup as I discover them and hopefully we all help out in doing the same so in the end we can get one super ill thread for advance Fei setups and stuff. All of these setups were used in Mirror in practice (Fei v Fei) so once i get around to finding a good bulk of these, I’ll test it out on the rest of the cast. 
Crossup Setups
-Cl. HP xx in HK Chickenwing
-2 Cr. LK into HK Chickenwing (Corner)
Sweep Setups-
-(Corner) Cr. MK, Sweep, HK Chickenwing
-Sweep, Whiffed Cr. MK, HK Chickenwing (Corner)
The timing is weird at first but becomes 2nd nature once you repeat it. So it definitely still exists in the game and the fact that we just have to rediscover it, makes the adventure towards doing so all the more satisfying. 8)
You wouldn’t want to cross up CW in the corner though, no combo and cornered yourself - aint a great spot to be in !
Understandable, but I wouldnt mind in certain matchups, because Fei would still be right in the opponents face and continue his pressure. If it was against dhalshim or something I’d understand but even then, it makes for great tick throws with all the mind fuckery occuring.
I saw Fuudo do a crossup setup after blocked 2-hit EX Rekka. Looked like cr.LP xx LK Chicken Wing. Might have been character-specific but I don’t own a console so I can’t test.
That’s nuts I’m about to check that out! It’s pretty apparent now that these setups do good for Fei players at high level. NO ONE knows whether to block the other way or not especially with the whole nerf and shit.
If I recall correctly it’s pretty unsafe since it’s the second hit of the CW that is crossing up
Hmm… if that’s the case I can see this being a lot less useful. Regardless I’m going to implement it into my gameplan.
