I work 100% of weekends, and had school in between. I was on the lookout for any friday gatherings, and only saw CAD when it was in its last week.
Also with the naperville arcade being completey shittified (no 3s, small marvel cab) its been hard to find anything in the south side area.
By the way, is smash part of the lineup? If not, I have the gamecube/ 2-4controllers/game to bring if enough people are interested.

Holy shit! You still play games? Haven’t seen you since Brunswick Zone. Haven’t seen anyone from the old gala days really.
Just wanted to clarify some things, there is a cvs 2 tourny this friday, however it is not a money tournament. There will however be a 3s tournament next friday the 30th it will be $15 to enter half the pool will go to prizes. Double elimination, prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. 1st gets 50%, 2nd gets 30%, 3rd gets 20%. I will have a formal thing for it on this friday people can pick up when they come. Also money matches are cool I might even play some ppl but we have to make sure that things dont ever get out of hand, if you lose you lose. If it ever becomes a problem we will have to address it. All of ya’ll seem cool as hell though so there will probably never be a problem. See you all on friday. And bring me a plate from your turkey days. jk

the last tourny we had I believe we had 14 ppl but more ppl are starting to show up so the numbers should increase.

I’ve been looking around at different arcades in my area for the past few months to try and get back in it. The only fighting cabinets I have seen are SvC and Tekken 5. Even more sickening is that the common arcade games now consist of Deal or No Deal or Super Trivia.
So what are the rules in the Cvs2 tourney eh?
Banned characters,double elim etc…minas well just stick to Evo rules.
