If Lee hasn’t got one, try calling Play 'n Trade in Evergreen Park. Gamestop doesn’t carry them and won’t take them as trade, so they won’t have used ones, but Play 'n Trade might have one. I got mine there and I think he said he had a couple. This is where I got my used Pelican converter, too.

Excellent, so after a little bit of playing around (mostly with the first USB cable, the first one I hacked up had a fucked up connection). I finally put the cthulu kit together to test if my mappings were correct:

The only 2 pins that had me a little weirded out were these two, the only two pins pulled high that aren’t actually used for the 360 dual mod:

Finished product after putzing around with the USB cables, 28 gauge stranded wire is a pain in the ass to put into a proto board:

After a bit of nervousness, finally just plugged it into the computer and hovered my hand over the circuit to feel any excess heat, but to much joy I see the little “Cthulu PC/PS3 detected” screen, fuck yes!

I made sure to run my “test” wire (basically a wire going to ground) to each of the directions and buttons (even the 2 N/C that were pulled high), windows recognized every one of the buttons being activated.
Now I just need to come up with my own PCB so that it’ll fit into the fightpad.
God damn this is fun
