It was pretty much mwc 1.5, a bunch of the same guys like magnus, team purple, beno, minus a few people. I was playing pretty badly, I got knocked into losers by magnus. I almost lost to webster. Then like halfway through my match with necrosis (I just went it 'meh, f it ', and I just started shielding the crap out of absolutely everything I could possibly shield and no one really knew how to deal with it the rest of the tourney. I would do random stuff like instant airdash shield, jump shield, airtech into shield, shield in the middle of strings into overhead, so I guess i was in pretty good shape after that.

No setup for melty in the gameroom all weekend, except for only the tourney that friday. It was set up like 15 minutes before the tourney started too. So that kinda sucked. Oh, and my arcade stick finally died. So that sucked also. So I spent like almost zero time in the gameroom all weekend but I had a bunch of fun checking out the rest of the con and hanging out with some cool peeps

Damn yo, half moon shield is so cheap. That sucks tho, how can you NOT have a setup for the most animu weeaboo fg that you can possibly import not being played at an anime con?!? And that REALLY sucks about your stick dying :sad:

so is there an info thread for area xiii somewhere? what are the times for gatherings on tuesdays and thursdays? and is it always tuesdays/thursdays? also, would there be a ps3 stick that a player could borrow/use? I have one, but another player tends not to have a stick for most systems ^.^;;

Hey, I havnt been following this thread for a long time now but I just thought I would pop in to say that I won an SBO qual preliminary and will be playing in the block finals in Akihabara on June 6th. My Team is Isa (ED) and MK (JO). You can read about it in my blog if you want.

I also most likely wont be visiting Chicago this Summer. Airfare is too expensive right now so Im just gonna be staying around here. I should be back to visit again in the winter though.
