I had gone upstairs to play some T6:BR…two random mexican guys were playing. P1 was beating P2*. P2 eventually loses while I’m waiting…so I’m waiting for his ass to get up so I can play, but then…he doesn’t, so I move towards the card reader. P2 sees me and is like “What the hell are you doing?” and I respond with, “You lost and I want to play”. P2 is then says in a really condescending voice (as if I’m a retard…REALLY easy way to piss me off in and of itself), “Well WE’RE playing! You have to wait until we’re DONE!” and then to top it off, he punctuates the statement with this “so NYUH!!! like a 5 year old” face…the kind of look that just makes you want to wreck a dude out of principle. I was fuming and ready to fuckin’ throw down, then I look up and see a fuckin’ cop. So I don’t do anything…I just let them play again…hoping P2 would win so I could wreck his ass in the game…nope, P2 loses again, but he actually gets up this time. I swipe my card and have a seat…still pissed, kinda lightheaded because of unspent rage. P1 asks if I’m going to whoop his ass, but I respond with a Trademark “Random123456789 Shrug”. P1 Beats me…with Raven**…I got him hard the first two rounds, but then he took it back by button mashing…with Raven…while I can’t concentrate and am just getting more pissed off by a seemingly unresponsive joystick (the buttons were fine, but a lot of shit that I was trying to do that WOULD have been effective didn’t come out, so I was left open a lot…and I really don’t like it when that happens. KoF XII there has the same issue, and my Ash suffers as a result.) and I’m still pissed off because of his friend. What a shitty night. Why is Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion attracting douchebags? Firstly, note my Signature. Second, note NamcoBandai allowing FUCKING TAPOUT to have custom items for characters in-game and make TekkenTapOut shirts for real. Thirdly, this incident…what the fuck is next, seriously…
EPILOGUE - I went back downstairs and fought some button mashing midget*** in TVC…still kinda pissed from the event upstairs…thanks to his mashing, he pulls random supers out of his ass, and he managed to beat me…losing to mashers TWICE!?! Losing the opporitunity to participate in LITERAL ACTS OF VIOLENCE!?! I was Beyond pissed, I was volcanic, and started to storm off…but then the K-Groove kicked in and I challenged him again and Wreckstepped his ass SO HARD…yup, a Ragewin****…something more people need to do.
- = considering I didn’t know their names, and knew good and damn well they aren’t among our Ranks, I opted to refer to them as Player 1 and Player 2, hence the P1 and P2
** = I don’t know a single soul that uses Raven in the Tekken Series, therefore I have no idea how the fuck to fight him…regardless, I somehow lost to a masher and thats just not cool…it’s shameful. I was using Law, by the way

I post that link just so people get what I am coming from. I see alot of us play SF4, some of us play just for fun or to relax, others want to be competitive at and want to become a high level player at the game. Right now we only have like to 2 people actually repping Chicago, that Marc and Floe. I would count SC4, but nobody plays that. We’re the 3rd largest city and there not much going for it. I not gonna make a long essay about this. Plain and simple we need to step our game up big time like Floe said. I just join the scene like a few months again and this my first game I am taking competitively. I’ve currently is working on becoming a better player, and I know that there are others out there that wanna do same. We need to let go any Egos or beef we may have with one another and start playing each other alot, rather its Xbox Live, gatherings, arcade, or tournaments. We need to be dedicated and put in the time and work folks!

I know, but where is the scene at here for SC4? Is it private or something, because I see no tournaments here or gatherings. Not to discredit hit accomplishment or anything, but SC4 is no where near as popular as main games being played. I don’t see many people playing it, I rarely here about it. I could be wrong about some of this, but like I said where is SC4?

while its true that people can always get better and should be trying to get better and whatnot. you should also know that chicago is repping better than you give it credit for. theres sc4, like syxx mentioned and theres also 2 people repping chicago at SBO. and this stuff isnt ancient history or anything, its happening right now, so to speak. so yea…
if you need to get better, then go ahead and do what you have to. just know you dont need to feel bad for the city.

Gota few games against Dai on my cab, he likes my cab much better than those TE sticks lol (though as a new stick player he likes the octo gates compared to the square so thats probably why).
