system-wise, not really. there were some rumors of glitches in the GGXXAC+ version that made the system worse than GGXXAC, but those rumors got debunked (just an FYI if you happen to run across people documenting those rumors).
they have the team mode, which u can play guilty gear like CvS2, or KOF12. I actually think that is a lot of fun. There is just a lot of story additional stuff.
so between the 2 versions, there is no real difference system wise.
Nives : Figured as much, CVS2 Mode sounds fun as hell, as long as it doesn’t take a year to load like AC’s did. 
i was actually playing AC+ at the depaul gaming lounge (which i recommend by the way, they also have SF4 and BB players there) and we played normal mode for awhile, then switched to CvS2 mode, and i think thats a lot of fun. you retain tension from round to round, and regain a little bit of health.
it was funny, in a review of AC+, the reviewer was like “the game pretty much is just the same as AC, and they added this pointless team battle option, which i think is a real waste.” I was thinking … “team battle? actually that might be the only reason for me to buy AC+.”
Nives : Yeah, since I don’t own a copy of AC anymore, I figured why the hell not and just get AC+ next weekend.
Also, I downloaded Final Fantasy Tactics from the PSN, that game is crack. Totally forgot that one of the job classes was a Thief…and well…this happened.
Is the game club only thursdays? When does it start and for how long? I get out of work around 7 and am basically right there…
dude … i love final fantasy tactics. i think its the only rpg i played multiple times. i actually still want to play it again cuz i didnt know Reis was so strong.
for guilty gear at least, they start pretty early on thursdays like at 2 and go til 9 or 10 i think. they do it pretty frequently. i know for a fact they will have a gathering today. i think its open all the time? depends on when people want to go. that building seems to have all the game development classes, and so on. they also have starcraft upstairs, which i might go check out, but i suck at starcraft … so it might just me getting rocked all the time.
its at the CMD building in depaul. if you get off of the adams/wabash stop on the brown line, go directly south for a little bit (i think a block or so), and then u ll be in front of the CMD building. it is on the 7th floor, cant miss it. otherwise u can get off the blue line jackson stop, and go east, then take ur first left and go north a block or so.
i dunno how many people they can house, cuz the space isnt huge, but they have a crapload of TVs, tons of consoles, a spare T5 stick, and 2 SE sticks. originally, i dont think bonzai wanted this too public, but there arent that many people that go in general anyhow. i do like the location since its downtown. also just FYI, i don’t know for sure … i actually don’t know that much about the venue (Middle Eastern Guy, Bonzai, and whoever else in that group can shed more light), but i think only depaul students are supposed to be there. i mean, if u go through the front, it isnt locked, they don’t check ID, the security lady doesnt seem to care, but just so that people know they arent necessarily supposed to be there … just don’t attract any attention.

i went yesterday at around 6 ish. the brown line had some technical issues, so i didnt get there until late. i dont go there that regularly, but i may show up more often now cuz of guilty gear gatherings.

I have two PS1 copies (black and green labels), War of the Lions on PSP, FFT on PS3, and I have an ISO for when I need to play on my laptop.

I’ve played FFT more then any other I suppose, had like 85+ hours on my old save for the PS1.
Currently messing around with Samurai as a job class, so freakin expensive cause their “Draw Out” Ability sometimes breaks the sword so you gotta mass katanas. Other then that, it’s Ramza and 3 regulars as Ninja’s, back up is either a White Mage/Summoner or my Samurai. Everyone has Item/Gain JP up/Auto Potion/Move +2 as their abilities.
T.G. Cid is busted good…hell, I beat the last few main missions with just him alone. Reis is retarded at higher levels as well, Cloud was meh, and the other NPC’s really didn’t matter much.
i’ve fallen asleep 3 or 4 times while playing FFT
jesus christ countless times for me. not that the game is really that boring, just the whole exp farming puts me to sleep.
I wouldn’t mind having people at my place tonight, but I really don’t wanna host if it’s only gonna be like 2 people. So post up if your in the area and you want some offline games tonight (like after 7). I can have a bb and sf4 setup running, on either or 360/ps3 (have both for both). So yeah I already got 2 setups covered.
