ah … i would give konkrete’s question 10 pages back a try, but my networking knowledge is a lil muddled. i believe you couldnt connect because your ps3 couldnt translate URLs into IP addresses (thats what the DNS server is for). already know you couldnt reach the DNS server (depends on what the error was). depends on what role the router plays, but it can be a number of problems. it takes a bit of time for the router to know where to send the datagram.
