Everyone seems to be hitting Game Works in Shaumberg (not sure I spelled that right) cus they got fresh cabs of SF4 and KoF12.
Nickle city has 3s, MvC2, ST, HSF2. Those are the only ones worth mentioning. And if your into those games, then yes its worth making the trip.

Forgive Slevin he doesnt seem to be reading full sentences atm :p. The answer is no, don’t go, because as you asked, there is no one that goes to Nickel City anymore. Everyone is going to Shaumburg Gameworks ,which is about 45 mins from the skyway. Hope that helps you a bit.

I think the exact opposite is true. Starting off with a diff character means poor results at first, but in the end, once you figure them out and get used to the game, you’re gonna start winning way harder than you would have been able to win if you were sticking with ragna or jin.
Plus most people that say "I’m gonna pick Carl later, but using Jin until i “get used to the game” are just gonna not switch to Carl. They’ll try using Carl, get owned, and just stick with Jin because they don’t want to lose to players that they can beat with Jin when they use carl.
Pretty much, some people will fail with carl regardless of whether they use him from the beginning or switch to him later, but in all honesty, I don’t think it’s impossible to start off with a difficult character and have it be worth it. If you’re at the level where doing the most basic combos in the game are hard, then you’re just not good at FGs anyways, so it doesn’t really matter.
But for someone like you, Ari, i have no doubt in my mind that if you started off with Carl or something, you could become good at him without too much of an issue.
