Tager is pretty crappy, indeed. And he really can’t get a lot going in his way most of the time unless he lands a Spark Bolt or Sledge Hammer (which seems to happen very seldom at higher level play).
Capps is subbing Tager, though, and he seems to be having pretty fun with the character so far.

Now considering Carl has his Completely Super Broken Throw-Loop of death that you can’t even burst out of, despite that he still remains a lower tier because you pretty much have to work your ass off to get it and he has no tools to really make it happen.
Theres a newer list from VersusCity that goes like this:

Still Carl only makes it to above-mid most likely due to his only game breaking tech. With most everyone in agreement that Hakumen,Bang,Tager are bottom.

I hate that I agree more with the second tier list in saying that Tao is lower, since it seems hard for her to do consistently big damage, unless I’m doing it wrong (which is a strong possibility). Still, maining the shit out of her. Anyone picking up Boobie-Lady? I plan to sub her at some point, just working on Tao first.

Cracka - I actually saved the replays of fLoE beasting me with Ragna, just to see what the hell kind of combo that was. 5000+ damage with 8-9 hits made me “wtf?!” for about 5 straight minutes afterwards.
Rachel’s explosions get loud to compensate for the fact that she’s so small. I thought that was obvious. Isn’t that how it always works? 
I don’t care if Tager’s bottom tier. I’m having way too much fun with him.
Normally I go for speed over power, but for some reason I REALLY like him. Although Tao comes in a close second, just gotta learn some of her basic combos and I should be set for a little while.
edit: also if you guys are on XBL hit me up, I really need practice with matchups so I can learn some basics for this game.

i think that the tiers might be tight in BB. Plus, Ari, people don’t know how to block so maybe that’s why you’re getting the impression that character is so good.
The manual your game came with. There’s also the BD/DVD thing the game came with with stuff for characters which is also pretty decent. I think they did a good job explaining stuff with Tager and Carl, but a shit job for Rachel.

Also try not to start every combo with a c.a. Shit prorated like crazy.
Tao has some of the higher damage combos. The basic bnb can do 50% on Ragna.

nope…its cuz i played fubarduck and every single time i would get hit,trade with him,get thrown,get BURSTED ON (yes ME taking a burst) i would get 100%'d if i didnt have a burst…and even with burst im still forced back into a mixup where if i dont block correctly i die…btw if you havnt guessed yes this means ive lost now lol…but ya carl may not be great on a numbered tier list but the matches where he can do that loop…he seems pretty ridiculous…again i had never even seen the character so im sure theres things i can learn about it…but regardless he did not seem to be a total shit char…although no one seems to be a total shit char in this game so far…except the big white dude with the sword…i havnt seen anything from him lol…but back to carl…i REALLY dont think hes a “starting off” character at all tho…i dunno why you guys pick crazy complicated chars to learn games with…would you learn gg starting with eddie? sf4 with viper? tvc with…i dunno that game sucks so who cares lol…but ya when u guys pick like the most complicated chars to LEARN A GAME WITH of course your going to have shitty results at first…but meh thats just imo

i would always suggest learning the basics of a game with the most basics character so yeah thats what i would suggest…but i mean thats not 100% needed…like theres an inbetween playing the most basic char and the most complicated…like i think learning with the cat chick isnt horrible…or the ice guy (sorry i dont know names im a scrub lol)
