That thing is pretty cool. You should post it here ----> The Official Post your Arcade Cabinet Thread!

looks nice but wow… expensive.

Used sony KDL W900 which has really low lag time, think 19ms…that’s why I went with sony.

Yeah that’ll do the job.
Definitely not a cheap setup, and I’m no fan of that american button layout.
However it totally is sweet and the whole wall looks amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing. Wish I had that kind of rain to throw around.
Also, that geek-squad tv install.

the buttons are really close together…a little less than 1.5" center to center. Do people really notice if they are just a tad closer? If it’s super easy to hit all three top or bottom buttons together, that’s all that matters, no?

I saw the drama that ensued in your post over in BYOAC concerning the button placement… if you are good with it then it doesn’t matter what the internet thinks… personal preference trumps all that crap.

4 players in an SF themed cab feels weird.
Also, not a fan of the US layout.

But SFII had US layout…that’s the theme I was going for since it was the game I grew up playing.

I like it. I know you will be playing many other games than SF so I get it.

Grew up playing SF on Sega candy cabs so you’ll have to understand why this looks awkward to me.

Kaneda: Amazing job. I’m envious!
I too grew up playing on US cabs. Love the art/theme you have going on too. Also love how you decorated the room. Kudos to an amazing setup.

That is really badass but for cost why not get a real cab?
