I was told that the mall was opening at 5am. So, we get there at 4:45am and I was told wrong; Mall opened at like 4am or some shit. We rush in and there’s this super long line at House of Hoops as well as Footlocker. As a matter of fact, The guy who was working the line at Footlocker was asking people’s sizes just to let them know if they should bother standing in line. They opened at 5am and sold out quick. House of Hoops and everywhere else was scheduled to open at 6am. So, we look over at Finish Line and no one’s standing in front of the store. So me and my guy said fcuk it and decided to wait there. They told us earlier in the week that they would have a VERY limited run of the countdown pack but atleast 2-3 in each size. I get up there and aparently, I got the only 9.5. It was kind of a gamble but I came up 7’s. House of Hoops ran outta my size as well as Footlocker a little after 6am which was suprising because I heard that House of Hoops was getting the most pairs in the whole state (along with the store downtown). Needless to say, me and my guy walked out very happy. Went home and went back to sleep. :wgrin: These babies are on ice probably 'til next summer.
In other sneaker news, I’m looking for a new pair of Neptune SB’s (sz 9.5) because I think I’m giving my current pair to my little brother who REALLY wants them.
About a year or so ago, they were rumored to be the space jams but as we all know, that isn’t the case. Would’ve been nice but these definitely aren’t bad either.
Are you talking about the Cool Grey Spizike’s that come out later this week? The guy at Footlocker showed them to us. I like the clear sole. Spizike’s are nice IMO but kinda pricey (lol, says the guy who just bought the XI/XII pack).
Early Christmas gift for myself, pretty much. Got the last pair at the Foot Locker near work. The black/purple colorway supposedly hit the streets today as well, but didn’t see it.
damn that 11/12 pack looking nice and i wouldnt mind another pair of breds. too bad i said i’m not gonna cop any packs except old love/new love. nice collection also.
I wanted that 11/12 pack like John McCain wants a recount, but I spent so much on everybody else’s Christmas that I couldn’t break off that big of a chunk on myself. How unfortunate. If I still care to in the next few weeks, I may just get them off the net although they’ll be marked up like Eliot Spitzer’s favorite whore.
