The only thing I would wish for with a stick like that is a clear mounting plate for the stick. Unless you were planning for art. But I think it would look stacked with a clear look with a clear mounting plate.
Good stuff

this is much sexier than the te
Looks awesome, although the unmounted PCB does worry me a bit.
Good stuff. Iām glad Iām not the only one that uses acrylic.
Thought so also but using solid wire the thing does not move one bit.
Acrylic doesnāt really agree with sawblades very well.
lol it doesnāt.
Unfortunately, the teeth wear out quickly after cutting a number of acrylics. It has to be replaced often
I find that if you cut solely acrylic with the same blade then they can last quite a while. The saw marks still take a fair amount of sanding out, though
Thatās a nice clear case, btw. It turned out really clean. What do you use to cement the acrylic?
TE mod, PS3 TE with an additional PS1 pcb:
And the insideeeeee.
I couldnāt get a better shot without the flash but its a bit darker than it looksā¦which is cool
Love the art on this one! Doctor Doom rules
Yeah, the thing I donāt like is the after some use the edges start to get really torn up. Also thinner acrylic has a tendency to crack/break on the table saw. Also, I canāt stand the smell of acrylic vs polycarb.
I love the smell of cut acrylic. XD
Itās possible that youāre buying in extruded acrylic instead of cast acrylic, as that is far more brittle. Cast should last for years even when used for exterior purposes.
Iām not a big polycarb fan. Itās really tough, but it sometimes fuses when cut and I find it gets covered in fine scratches pretty quickly.
I usually use a clear liquid that is extremely volatile(hope that word is right) that dissipates on contact. Itās not a consistent, but more watery when I purchase them from my acrylic dealer.
My dual-modded stick with art/plexi. The plexi etching is from Udonās Street Fighter #1 cover.

PACMAN ghetto stick
This is a prototype before I make a nicer case with a Happ ms. pacman stickā¦
Took an old WD 1TB network storage enclosure and made it into a Pacman/Galaga stick. The rubber lining is great for grip.
-LS-33/4-way on
-PS1 PCB
It looks so sleek with that hard drive enclosure.
cool but whats the use for that stick having only 2 buttons?
Galaga just needs 1 face button and Pacman none
