heh I knew I should of done so when I was doing the mod. I’ll post internal pics too as well as a video.
inorite?
I would if I knew how to make custom stickers. Someone already suggested what the perfect ken sticker would be.
Guess I should make a thread for a how-to guide?
I would follow up on that fo sho. Gum.

You ever finished yours?
lol. It a 360 like a happ joystick. Though theres no microswitch in it so theres no clicky sound or any resistance. It uses a multiple-throw wiper, so you can wire it up to your preference to how sensitive you want it to be. You can make it so you can just push it a little to have it engage or have it so you need to move it all the way. Idk if theres anyway to add some type of custom restricter gate to it.

No way, I plan on two more sticks for both my kids and I’m done with stick modding - going with an HRAP2 instead of a V-Smile for each.

Did you try and attempt to mod it? Its actually a pretty easy mod once you get over the initial period of opening it up and figuring out whats going on inside.

DON’T TEMPT ME!!! I have about 50 sixaxis boards that I have in my disposal, so don’t think I wouldn’t mod that. The real challenge and reason I would do that mod would be for the motion sense.

**My newest stick. **

Modded with a ps3 cthulhu. Could use a MC instead and make this bad boy work on ps2 and gc. Top four buttons do light up, but I had to swap out the original leds with white ones and add a resistor. I think the original resistors for the leds were located on the main controller board which I removed. The stick can still be rotated to the right side (it originally did that) , but I haven’t bothered finishing the mod to invert the joystick input when rotated.
The button config is as follows:
green = weak kick
blue = weak punch
yellow = med punch
red = med kick
big enter button = strong punch
the lil button with the ? = strong kick
and the other two buttons next to the ? are start and home.
The people at the ranbat I unveiled this beast at were all shocked in disbelief that such a thing could exist. I even managed to win against two matches with this.
I’ll eventually give this to my friend’s two year old son so he can start learning to play SF4.
Can you post a picture of the internals? either that or stop trolling.

I love the video but why would they make a controller for lefties, seeing as lefties are minions of the devil that must be destroyed?
P.S. It is my dream to teach a bear to play SF4 using a V-Smile since the controller was clearly made with them in mind…

How can this be a PS3 cthulu if you have a 360 wire coming out of the thing? I mean, I know you can use the same wire if you splice it. This is silly, lol.

That V-Smile is dope. Hurry and post a video!
I can’t believe someone actually took the initiative to make the V tech joystick possible. Fierce SRK all day baby.

And if that’s not enough, I made a quick video. http://s79.photobucket.com/albums/j138/gocontourgo/projects/?action=view¤t=P1030055.flv
Since I don’t own a PS3, I hooked it up to my laptop. Do I need to show anything else?
