Finally finished painting and changing the parts of my TE and as a noobie to modding i guess it came out decent enough.
-Painted everything with Krylon Spray Paint
-Ordered the buttons and balltop from Lizard Lick
(did the twisted color look with 4 blue OBSF-30 with the stock white OBSF-30)
-Plexi and dust washer from Arthong
-Art printed at kinkos and cut out with an exacto knife
-Laminating sheets and adhesive spray for the cord compartment door

Hopefully this looks cool to you guys and any suggestions on how to polish Krylon spray paint? A nice glossy finish might make this look better :pleased:

I added Sanwa buttons to my stick, because the stock buttons were giving me problems like not registering I held the button (FA) or just didnt plain fire when pressed.
I removed the LT and RT buttons, I never used them except to confuse where my fingers were on the stick.
The Joystick is stock, but highly tweaked, washer fix as soon as I bought it, re-greased and adjustments to the internals of the micro switches so corners always register properly! . I dont see any real need to replace it.
I just want to make the leds around the xbox button blue.

:sad: Wow, that is what I have been waiting to do on my TE stick for the LONGEST time. I love how you did it.:lovin: I was going to make it black and white though w/o the colored characters. I was also going to have it modded with the light-up-on activation buttons. I’ve been waiting for my art and plexi’s but I guess great minds think alike. I have a couple more ideas I’ve been trying to do that I think SRK will like. Atleast I hope so…

I upgraded my other stick, posted in the first version of this thread with a new dustwasher by Art, check his thread for that. At the same time I got a few extra dustwashers from him and finished my SE mod.

Gutted the HRAP3 (in my attempt at dual modding it intially, but screwed it up so I had to gut it out and use a cthuhlu) and dual modded it to work for both PS3, 360 and PC of couse.

Mods include:

7x White Sanwa OBSF-30 buttons
2x White Sanwa OBSF-24 buttons
Cthulhu PCB which is dual modded with the mad catz 4716 controller. Switching is done by the Imp, but holding the guide button when plugging the controller in.
replaced the button location for the start/select, so its at the back
Of course the custom plexi and artwork

Wow…all these cool sticks encourages me to mod my TE stick once it reaches me…waiting eagerly for my TE stick to arrive…btw for people living in Canada like me, they can buy the TE stick from newegg.ca.
