i don’t neg anyone. only the ones that deserve it. I don’t neg all the bad comments i see usually ignore him. But this is like some redundant stuff he did. Just an insult to him. I gave you a green so be happy with that.
I saw that, I didn’t get it. Didn’t think people were supposed to get annoyed by w/e code he’s spamming lol. Sorry x) and I was wondering who repp’d me… Thanks haha.
Stick-related question: I’m gonna be using screw-ins to mod on a TE, what do I do with the near button again so I don’t have to sand anything? I know you sent me pictures on how it’s supposed to look like but I forget how you get to that LOL :S Thanks!
stick the nut under the metal bracket and from the other side start screwing it in, but to find center for it; it’s the left and right tabs that u pressed to push the plunger out. Just align ur art to that.
I can understand that, and the last thing I’d want to do is down play anyone’s efforts.
I guess it’s just that personally I find scratch custom builds to be really interesting, and I love seeing these people’s work on display, but I do feel that there is an inordinate amount of TEs and HRAPs coming through, slightly diluting the smaller amount of customs, and although I respect the work put in, and the pride of the owners, I thought that they deserved their own thread for TE fanciers.
Here’s my Namco look-alike using a Sanwa JLF (with a Namco shaft), OSBF-30, the 24mm buttons on the back are a mix of PS-14-DN rims and OSBF-24 plungers while the Start button uses a OSBF-24 rim and PS-14-DN plunger. The OSBF-24 plungers fit right in but I had to modify the PS-14-DN plunger and OSBF-24 rim by using a Dreml since the PS-14-DN plunger is wider and will get stuck if unmodified. At the moment it has a Cthulhu PCB, going to add a 360 FightPad PCB and Imp later.
And before the “mandatory” “OMG! THE STAERT BUTTEN IS TOO CLOSE!” comment/post I just wanna say that yes, it is close to the other buttons (just the way I want it) but I don’t flail my fingers around that much and it’s modified so that you’ll have to push it to the bottom before it engages.
ecKsniNe that stick looks very nice. What kind of wood is that? I love the artwork too. The only minor thing that bugs me is the cut off glove(?) that comes out of the oval around Balrogs head. I think it would look even better if you just cropped it so that everything stayed inside of that oval. Besides that it looks awesome. Nice work as always!
I think the white and orange buttons go a lot better with the art work than the orange and yellow ones on the TE. Gotta do something about the last two though, all white is too bland. But it was all I had on hand.
Nice idea! I thought the Comic Con exclusive was pretty clownin’ to begin with since any cat could just replicate the template. It’s not as though the exclusive art scheme was all that stellar to begin with, but I’ll give you respect for getting it down 100%. You really nailed it.
