I’m not really fond of the color scheme you got going on but it’s a nice stick overall. Maybe change the balltop? Bubbletops always look sexy to me :smiley:

I’m thinking a green bubbletop or standard ball would be better too. Looks good overall though.

Thanks, yeah already ordered the green one but in the meantime better than nothing :)! Was also thinking fo changing the orange ones for 2 yellow… but like i said ordered from lizardlicks so i d say in 3 weeks lol ;)!

did the artwork myself back in my graphic art class… JLF stick, put some grip tape around it cause the new new feel doesn’t do me well… standard sanwa buttons… hybrid… i love it… get to break it in proper this saturday at a tourney

This is my first stick, a bit big and messy(especially the wiring), but I think it came out alright for a first attempt. The stick is a jlf and the buttons are seimitsu.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think your AIAB has Happ parts, not Sanwa. Sanwa doesn’t make concave buttons and their joysticks don’t have matching shafts, as well as matching dustwashers.

I think you have a Happ Blue Eurojoystick and Happ Comp Concaves. Corect me if I’m wrong ^^"

Interesting button placements - was that measured and on purpose?
Not a bad looking stick though - glad to see I wasn’t the only one who had to use multiple pieces of paper for the art on their first stick though lol :slight_smile:

Yeah, I started with a precise measurement and then modified it to fit my hand, particularly the thumb.

That’s what I was thinking - it looked too specific to just be a mis-measurement. Good stuff - it’s nice to see people making things with actual utility and comfort being priorities. Good job.

Here’s my multi console mayflash!! Trying to sell it to fund a stick for my cousin though… so much work and cash has gone into this stick… had i known how much it would have all cost, i would have just got a TE :S

Mods include:

  • MC Cthulhu for multi-console capabilites
  • Sanwa JLF stick with white balltop
  • 7x white sanwa obsf-30’s (6 for the buttons, and 1 for the guide)
  • 2x black/grey sanwa obsf-30’s for the L1/L2 combonation
  • 2x white sanwa obsf-24’s (for start/select)
  • Neutrik RJ-45 mod with neutrik plugs (makes RJ-45 cables look pro… :smiley: - pictures will tell for themselves)
  • PS2 plug with rj-45 mod (tested working), PS3/PC (usb) plug with rj-45 mod (tested working), usb to xbox adapter (not tested yet), gamecube plug with rj-45 mod (not tested as i don’t have a gamecube)
  • Plexi for custom artwork (the bottom of the plexi isnt exactly the same as the contour of the stick, bloody plexi glass ppl screwed up the radius… instead of a 15mm radius, i think they used a 30mm radius, nevertheless, i think it’s still got character :D)
