Nice Arcade Stick … oh, wait?

So, this is my first ever stick mod… I plan on making it all SF2:CE styled, button-wise (as opposed to those Hori buttons…) soon, but I got impatient and decided to try out the template I finished early.
I’d like to ask, though, how in the world do you people get such clean outlines of your stick art? My exacto barely cut through the button holes, I think I was using the default blade for the #1 type, is there a specific one I should look into? I’m going to size this one up a little better and try it again in the future when I know I can make it look better.

EDIT: but to rate the template, man I would definitely have fun optimizing that template to make everything (portraits and SF logo) fit in perfect symmetry, clean cut.

- 30mm sanwa screw-ins with mixed colors
- 24mm seimitsu screw-ins
- MC Cthulhu board
- JLF stick

The wiring is a little messy but it was difficult to do because there was very little space to accommodate everything.

I’m loving the slant of the case and it feels very comfortable to play with. Right now I’m only using it for SF4 on PC but I plan to upgrade it to Wii/GCN use in the future.
hello everyone, here is my custom stick my friend Jeff made for me. My father and I made the bottom. The stick is a standard JLF and the buttons are Sanwa. The PCB inside is a normal Sony Dualshock. It has been complete for a while, but I wanted to wait until I got my buttons (damn you lizard lick!) so I could take pics when done.

My stick is a tribute to Daniel Dumile, one of the best rappers ever. The bottom of the stick is a bit cheezy looking but I am fine with it because it’s the part you do not see and it adds the weight that was desperately needed. I also plan on making my own as close to this one as possible for 360.

Hey that turned out real nice good work. You know with some clear plexi and rubber bumpers for feet you could add some art to spruce up the bottom side. I might even add some non slip padding or feet to it just to keep it still while I played (Gief and his SPD’s) but that’s just how I roll. Good stuff dude
The semitsu buttons are so much sexier than the sanwa ones, i would change them in a heartbeat if they handles similiarly. Too bad I only like the sanwa’s feel.
Bad part is, that unless there’s an extension cable that matches, you’d have to sacrifice one of those pretty white import gamecube controllers for a matching cable. :sad:

They definitely make them in white, so that shouldn’t be an issue.
