the older mayflash pcbs have weird button mappings for PS2 and PS3, they are different. that’s why i incorporated the button mappings on the artwork so i wouldn’t confuse myself everytime i configure them. it’s a PITA really. mainly using the stick for PS2, and as a guest stick for PS3.

A Vewlix HRAP3 appears!
Hey guys, this is one of the first Panel Replacement plexis created with Art Hong’s new flash editor. While Art is working on getting his store updated, I wanted to post this for you all to see. We used a pearl metallic plexi, which looks sort of 3D in person. He will be offering various colors for the replacements, including some crazy neon transparent stuff. Also, I must say that this stuff feels surprisingly solid to play on… the thickness makes it feel pretty similar to a metal panel.
Here are the parts I used:
- HRAP3 Case w/ Toodles ChImp (PS3) + Madcatz Wired Pad (360)
- Art’s Replacement Panel & Top Loaders
- Sanwa JLF (w/ mounting plate) & OBSF Buttons
- Stainless bolts from Ace Hardware
(6/32 for JLF mount, 8/32 for top loaders) - Adhesive Neoprene 1/16" from Amazon

I built it to play MAME mostly. Plays SF4 great too since i grew up with a circle gate. Robotron, smash tv, karate champ are just a few games that use both sticks.

That looks great. Simplicity is so often beautiful and so often ignored. Good stuff.
That is very clean. It will be interesting to see what other combinations people come up with. Art is the man.

How’s that joystick? Always wanted to try one out but I’ve never used a bat top before.
Yea, the JLF is top mounted because I was testing all the mounting options. When he releases the panels, people will be able to bottom mount the joystick.
