Crappy cellphone pic, BUT…I Just finished my SE Stick… All these parts came from a friend that felt sorry that I was playing on knock off parts when I used to play on the real thing all the time.
I like gundams…lol done on Lamilabel and steady hands.
Sanwa JLF with shaft cover off of a TE with Octagon Gate (Used to play on Korean fanta sticks so I’m used to having “no corners.” lolz.)
Sanwa OBSN 30’s White x6
Seimitsu PS-14-KN’s Blue x2
Lol, yeah its Ikaruga. I even put the symbol for it on the right very faintly
Haha, cheers I guess…
Yeah they’re just called terminal blocks, used quite a bit in household electrics. I’ve also heard them called chocolate blocks, they don’t taste any good though
I finally finished my custom stick after several months due to only spending an 1 a week since I’ve been very tied up with work. I used both Sanwa and Seimitsu parts (the best of both worlds) and here it is from start to finish. I used a Hori Version 1.0 from the Tekken 3 bundle for this.
Thanks goes out to those who helped contribute to me finishing this product.
Seimitsu, Sanwa, Paik, Dirk, Kinkos, Home Depot, Froy, etc. You guys made it possible. :china:
I know I posted this a while ago in the old thread, but I recently did some upgrades to my stick and wanted to show it again.
This is my NES themed stick. (Case is from Kaytrim. PCB is Toodles’ Cthulhu. I bought a blank case and stained/clearcoated it.)
The new upgrades are a second Madcatz 360 pcb and a switch. I hacked the pad and installed the switch myself (first time with a soldering iron, so I’m pretty impressed with it). The switch isn’t as thick as the rubber feet, so it sits fine on a table. I also installed a shaft cover and an octogate. This stick is finally complete and how I envisioned it back when I started.
Sorry if these upgrades don’t warrant a new post… but I wanted to show it off… hahaha
Very nice work man, always a fan of art that is not dedicated to any one person or game coz those can old or boring after so long and being a nintendo fan, that controller is awesome, i’m surprised there’s not alot of those done here like yours.
