I’m really just getting into modding and working my way up to being able to do the really impressive stuff. This was my first attempt at it. I’d like to make a new stick from scratch that plays on PC/PS3/360.

@ Voltech Even though that’s your old style stick, it still looks AbFab. Teh wood combination is fantastic, and CHun Li looks right. Can’t wait for the new design to hit. We already talked about the design (ans it will be pimpin!), so now I need to get some art done. I think I may be asking d3v for his assistance again
@ Satek That walnut looks pimp! If I wasn’t going to stain the maple case you’re doing for me I would have gone with that. Post pics of the final case and keep up the good work!
@Souji5 That should be nice once you’re finished with it. Sucks on the paint gun mixup though. I’m sure you’ll find a good use for it though!
Now to finally go finish this project that’s taken way too much time already. Would have been done this afternoon but family comes first…

b15sdm, your work with paint never EVER ceases to amaze me! FANTASTIC job on that Superman stick and that little slope you did with his S logo was a great touch! I love that Kryptonite PCB box as well! Superman had best be careful if he ever wants to crack open one of your cases! :lol:
Matt K, those Sega Virtua Stick High Grades look absolutely fantastic! Very clean wiring job and I actually really like that color scheme a lot. Great stuff! Those are by far my favorite retail sticks in terms of design.
fujifilm, those Norris Arcade Stick cases are superb! I especially love that Bruce Lee themed one because hey, you got to love the great master! The color coordination on that Violent Ken stick is very pleasing to the eyes as well. I must ask though, where did you get a green Sanwa shaft? Is that a custom shaft cover or something? Love the Sanwa FLASH 1 you have in the Bruce Lee stick by the way!

The first 4 pics i have the metal plate painted with black as i wanted it to be simple. Soon i realized that playing on them is pretty cold. And the “coldnesss” made my execution way beyond bad. I decided to remove the paint and went for ryu&ken art.
Ryu&ken was my first art and first cutting experience using exacto knife ( used to use pen knife). As a result of my unstable hands I created the 4 corners. They were eyesore to see. So finally i decided to make a new art, Mario Background.
I printed it without the template holes,dust washer. Painted the turbo&home panel to yellow. But quite disappointed with the yellow as it wasnt the bring yellow i wanted. Also, painted the turbo & home buttons with black. Should have used red on those buttons. but oh well… I still love my stick.

Hey man,
I don’t know if the Flash1 shaft is fatter than the JLF, but I have a red siemitsu LS-55/56 shaft cover on one of my JLFs. I just had to shave a tiny amount off of the inside lip of the bottom end and then it fitted like it was made for it.
Not really a fan of your work my dude, don’t take it the wrong way.
Hmm, I think I have the exact same red shaft cover as well. I’ve been thinking about whether I should shave that bit at the bottom and fit it to the JLF in my HRAP3. My only concern is whether the red will go well with the red bubble top or if its too much red on stick and not enough contrast in colours.

Lol I really want a custom stick now. =( It’d be so sexy with xbox360/ps3 dual mod, purplearms led boards, and super sexy =o wonder how much it would cost me >_>
