Iāve been working on a wooden or bamboo top for my TE myself. Its just hard to get decent sheets of 1/16 bamboo in my area.
Heh, I was actually thinking of doing a Japanese looking stick w/ bamboo edging, but I donāt know where to find 1.5" diameter bamboo in the desert :razzy:

Alright, to be fairā¦ I cheated. :< I did have to trim the edges of the square hole ever so slightly with a hobby knife, but itās barely noticeable. Iām surprised it fits so well myself!

just got my TE round 2 stick! those buttons and joystick feel SO MUCH different than my SE!!! omg! I canāt wait to try it outā¦ although my gf isnāt too happy about it saying I already owned a stick, and you spent 100$ on a new one and you say you donāt have $ to spend on me hahaā¦ (which is not true btw, she is spoiled :D). anyway, pics later when I get some alone time without angering her moreā¦

Woah Iām trying to mod the same stick! (Well, the Ryu one). Iāve already replaced the stick with a JLF (keeping the same microswitches as they are quite good), but donāt know where to start with the buttons. Iāve bought 8 x Sanwa OSBF-30s but they are at 30mm and the holes are at 28mm, so Iāll need filing of somesort. Iām also replacing the artwork with some white/silver vinyl so weāll see how it turns out. Nice to see someone also likes this stick!
