Thanks guys! Funny thing about the chalkboard paint was that it was random… I was going to do a metallic something and then plexi over but it’s been done… Just wanted something different and I’m no good with Photoshop… Now with chalk I can change art on the fly… Granted it won’t last long lol

@ Beast are u using sanwa square gate holding ur optical. If so u cant use sanwa square on Ascii Optical it dont fit properly. U have to use the Ascii gate on ur optical to fit properly.

I am using a sanwa square gate and the fit is just how the ASCII octo gate would fit it. I haven’t had problems so far.

Haha. Out of curiosity, would magnets damage the TE somehow? The real etch-a-sketch method wouldn’t work due to the rails, but a cross between an etch a sketch and a magnadoodle might.
Basically, instead of using rails to move the needle, use a magnetic point and move it around with a pen on the other side of the surface, but still using the aluminum powder.
So I ended up building my first stick yesterday, and since this was my first one, I didn’t want to make a nice box/case in case I ruined it in some way, so I used the next thing I could find, a Cigar Box, sadly it was only big enough to fix 6 buttons and start (at least I got extra buttons for when I build a box). Stick uses all Happ parts (comp. stick) and MC Cthulhu, currently wired as a Gamecube Controller.
