Check Out My New Arcade Stick! (No Image Quoting)

Man that stick is incredible b15sdm, I’m not a huge Dee Jay fan or anything but this is probably the best stick that I have seen you create. The paint, the artwork, everything just flows together so flawlessly, and the MAXIMUM word on the side is simply perfect. Awesome awesome work my man!

Your collection makes me a little jealous. :looney:

Amazing stuff as always b15sdm. If only I had the money lying around, I would definitely snatch this up since I need (more like want) a portable stick. I can always dream though…

B15sdm: yet another gorgeous stick ! My favourite from you is the Bison one, I just love the combination of splendid paint effects and excellent artwork (the grinning Bison gives me the creeps !). Every time, I’m like “how did he do that ??!?”.

I made this for my neighbors 7 year old son. This will be his X-Mas gift.
Poplar box, dyed black. Happ parts (w/ shitty microswitches) Cthulhu,

Nice stick Raoul! Although from the angle yoru pic is taken, it seems that the joystick + buttons are placed lower. That leaves less wrist space no? Snake Eyes pwns nonetheless :]

Also, that’s very nice of you, as a Christmas gift.

Thanks,
The joystick and buttons are mounted low for his 7 yr old small hands. I played on it and I felt comfortable as well.

I wish I got presents like that when I was 7. Nice job Raoul!

raoul, where is my xmas gift broham?

So, as some of you may already know, I’m new to this whole scene. I recently purchase my first ever fight stick (MvC TE) and started modding it. So far I’ve tested out the JLF and the LS but I prefer the JLF. Currently I’m testing out the Sanwa buttons over Seimitsu and it seems I enjoy the little resistance Seimitsu’s have to offer…so far. Anyhow, I liked these things so much I purchased another one. If this keeps the same pace, I’ll be ordering a custom one from B15sdm.

Edit: Sorry for the shitty cell phone pics…

nice te sticks i still havent opened my marvel te yet

I feel even more of a fool now for buying a TE thinking they were going to be limited

I do like the look of that MvC2 version though.

Here’s what I did today:

http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/1650/windy2.jpg

Gotta show some Konami love ya know? Windy 2 is too nice of a cabinet to pay no homage.

Here’s the breakdown on this sucka:

PCB from HRAP EX SE, thanks amazon
Case from Tekken 5 edition stick
Custom panel and plexi from shmups forum (I think VocalNinja made this)
Windy 2 overlay photoshopped a few days back.
LS 32 joystick
Seimitsu clears and whites for the buttons.

This actually came out a little nicer than I thought. 7th button is in the mail, but I might leave the spacer. I prefer the 6 button layout but this plex came with the panel.

I just realised something you should use a wall bracket for the tv and the stand can go. Thanks for comment

Thanks again, I just about to check my emails will get back to you shortly…

To be honest most of my cases are usually the same sort of shape but I got abit tired of it. So instead went with something abit different. I actually used a mitre saw which can slide back & fowards. Its got a total travel distance of 320mm which was enough to make all the long cuts out of the case. I couldnt do the same with my normal size cases. I dont have a band saw at the moment either, I may invest in one though. Thanks for the props man.

Thanks, the maximum was one of the maint things I wanted to incorporate into the case as without it wouldnt look right. It would always feel like something is missing.

I have a few more compact cases made up, if you are interested in one or just want me to provide the case, painted with plexi and art (no parts) let me know…

I think the Bison one was a hit but I didnt think it would be that memorable. It feels like such a long time since I built that one.

Give me a shout when ever your ready, I got 10 blank cases waiting to be completed.

By the way the first photo is funny (no offense) because the little kid is as excited as I get when fresh new parts come through the post.

Mayflash Arcade Stick full Sanwa!

Do you like it? :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s full Sanwa…

Cool can’t wait b15

also Alec that’s a really nice windy harp may I asked why u used a t5 base was it in better condition either way looks nice

haha that’s a sick setup. I always liked the shape of Mayflashes. Good job

probably the nicest mayflash mod I’ve seen. Nice work.

Thanks man. Original plan was to drop this on the white EX SE case. Because the panels bolt on differently though, I couldn’t use the EX SE panel with any other case. A bummer at first, but once I put the Windy on the black case I really dig the look.

@Rashohyo - Nice joystick man, that photo is downright awesome!

HORIs
