Hey,

Heres a Dhalsim stick I just finished building. It was inspired after playing against a really talented Sim player and losing miserably. I never realised how good he really can be.

All Sanwa parts which I had left over from my other builds. The case is very slim and with regards to the finish I went for a metalic brown (mauve tint) with ghost effect skulls to emphasise Dhalsim’s characteristics. The skulls cant be seen unless the light is hitting it. Otherwise it just looks brown. The wide metalic red stripes were quite obviously taken from his face and wrapped around the case and into the art work.

I’ve been looking to purchase a custom stick for quite some time. It just seems like getting in touch with a quality builder is nigh impossible. All of the most impressive work is purchased near instantly if it’s first come first serve, and commissioning work from specific builders seems difficult with either non-functioning web-sites or very cryptic pricing structures. I really wish there was a Badasssticks-R-Us somewhere

I think it’s mapped on the default button config, so I would say a lot of people. But I have no idea what it’s used for.

Alright, I’m as done as I’m gonna be for some time with this stick. I may eventually get around to staining/sealing/etc. the wood, but it’s essentially done in every other aspect, and I don’t think I’ll be changing the wood color much with the stain anyway.

Wish I could have been cleaner than this, as I still don’t know of a good way to daisy chain a ground and have it not look like ass around the buttons.

The Neutriks. USB one nice. RJ45… not so nice. After buying two different Neutrik CAT5 adapters and their respective connectors to experiment with the best method of mounting straight into the wood, I got word of a CAT6 adapter that actually can pretty much just slip into a 24mm hole like the USB one. Then I found out, after getting it in there, that the CAT5 connectors don’t fit. :crybaby:

Nice Saber artwork! And your wiring isn’t THAT bad; at least it’s easy to navigate! Also, I must ask, where did you get your Neutrik port caps? Are those official or home made?
