Hey I’m from BK too. What store sells it?
Awesome Chun-Li stick mang, has a sleek look to it, also nice clean wiring.
i know it’s a couple pages back, but this stick is exactly like my Aluminum case stick. the button layout is sooo comfy (for my hands at least ;P)
Hss-0130
So, what exactly make that huge piece of plastic worth that much ? (talking about the HSS-0130)
I went the regular laminate spray adhesive route as well I and personally like that route a lot. Although the lami-label is probably the same type of thing. But knowing that I can spray the art work then line it up and slap it on and cut off the excess from the plate by using the plate as a guide made for damn near perfect cuts, Only place that was messed up was the turbo panel cause we didn’t used the plate as a guide for the blade.
I still feel that a white balltop and orange and white buttons looks soo much better than orange balltop and orange and yellow buttons. But good on you for going for the full comic-con feel, minus the SSFIV logo of course

Because they were manufactured clones of the Astro City Control Panel/Surround for home use. Couple the face that they were made for the Sega Saturn (Old) and only released in Japan means that they are not easy to come by, especially in excellent or original condition (Since it seems many who get them, proceed to mod them).
How you got one for $20 is beyond me but thats a crazy price.
nothing special here, just an artwork mod. just a “first attempt” to familiarize myself with the process, the electronics, and to see if the tools i had on hand would be enough. i have access to a colour printer but it’s not as readily available as B&W so i thought i’d have a shot at it anyhow. painted the rim and let it dry overnite. but overall, it was a good experience

Thanks for the info !
I got it from local classified ads ! I was looking for a used sega saturn. The guy asked 20$ for it ! That’s it !
Classy looking stick, I dig the art style - what’d you end up painting the rim with?
Absolutely I will never cut my own art or plexi again as long as he is in business.
The stuff I got from him recently (custom plexi, laser cut art, washers) was absolutely flawless.
is that a sketch you did yourself? looks da vinci-esque. good work, and i’m going to have to ask how you painted your bevel also…
Thanks.
And actually I got it laminated/lami-label at Staples, bad quality of the pic just makes it look all D:.
That case looks great, I’m really digging that wood man. Nice job.
I don’t know what else to say about your sticks other than, :wow: you need to stop man, this is overkill, lol.
thanks! unfortunately, i didn’t draw the art myself. they were mainly just PS brushes i’ve collected over the years. i just tried to think up something unique with the constraints of only black and white.
i painted it with acrylic, since i paint anyway, and that’s all i have, lol. i like how it looks, but i’m not sure if i’d prefer regular paint with a clear coat or something.
thanks again~
Sorry about this but heres a custom for a fellow SRK member.
This one was based on bruce lee, marshal law, fei long and reference to some of bruce lee’s inspiring quotes (idea was supplied by client). See if you can spot the theme in the case. HINT look at the quote and then the blue painted effect on the front of the case.
I went for a twist with this one. After painting the case I felt it didnt have that natural look to it, so I brought back some of the wood finish through and clear coated it to death.
Hopefully you like it…you know who.

b15 man, your posts are full of win .. You’re tempting me man >< I gotta get a stick done by you.
My first though when I looked at the paint after your comment about bringing out the wood was bird’s eye maple. Then I looked at the succeeding photos and OMFG it looks like water dropplets. Love the hypnotic effect around the side buttons the plywood gives. You never cease to amaze with the effects you can achieve with the paint. Even though you came onto the scean just recently you are the #1 active builder on the forums.
I think b15 returned to the scene, didn’t just enter o.o He was here since the beginning of Thread 1 lol and his sticks have been godly then.
