It’s all about spacing and each characters’s hitbox and pushback, if you get used with that, ball’s combos are not risky, you will always knows if at any range you will makes a kd or not.

You guys use alternate bnbs on Chun Li/Makoto/Balrog aka the characters that can punish Blanka ball on hit (if it doesn’t knock down)?

if you can piano just combo into electricity. if your not sure if the electricity will reach off of c.lk c.lk end with ex electricity. easier said then done though haha

I can piano but c.lk, c.lk, s.lp xx FP Electricity whiffs at certain ranges, if it didn’t this would be Blanka’s optimal bnb combo cause it does 182 damage. I’ll try EX electricity. I see in your videos you get a lot of mileage of this, pretty cool stuff.

Honestly confirm range and see if you can combo to elec/knockdown ball or not.

Another thing you can do is just try to confirm off of 1 cr.lk. Hell if you don’t confirm and they block you’re still +10, mix em up.

I cant combo with ex elec. I slide, and I just cant seem to figure how to make it work. Maybe Ill drag another finger across as I slide…im lazy…

anyway, against chun li and balrog etc, elec combos all day everyday. Hell, against everyone, I do elec combos all day everyday. just crouch lk~elec makes me happy enough. If I want to showoff or try to link ultra, I go for the 3 shorts, but if I just want guaranteed damage and positioning, lk~elec/ stand jab~elec for days.

If you’re using the 4th button on the bottom for 3P (to plink Ultra), you can practice sliding LP > MP > HP > MP (4th button on top) > 3P

I’ve never tried that myself, but it’s worth a try, I guess (it’ll probably feel awkward switching rows on the buttons, tough)

I just slide lmhm then just kind of slam the buttons. EX elec has a bigger window to do than HP so you have some time to move your hand.

c.lk, c.lk, c.hk is a measly 140 damage, but you can’t be punished for doing it and its only 35 less than the ball combo and it works off further spaced c.lks.

Unless I have meter to cancel into super off M Ball I think its too risky.

I know ex starts up in 5 frames, like lp. Window to cancel doesnt mean much to me cuz I slide fast as hell. Just gotta get used to dragging that extra finger on reaction when i want an ex combo, Ves, while I guess a video would be intriguing, if its too much trouble dont bother. Just keep working on that sfxt blanka combo vid!

also, I just checked jump mp hitbox. Holy cow, that thing is tiny. gonna be hard to setup. But I can already guess a couple ideas, might try out tonight if i get to play.
