Hey bud, you got me all wrong… i dont mean to sound butt hurt or anyting, im just trying to hype up our community. You and Faust are doing a great job, hosting at your place and setting up tournaments. We couldnt ask for more…im just trying to get people to step out of thier comfort zones and try different games. I figured if i stirr up some stuff, people might actually dust off thier copies of MVC3 and MK and practice a little. I know that AE is the #1 game and will most likely bring in the most people, but i cant forget about #2 and #3.
I know, for me personally, MvC3 got stale really fast. It didn’t seem to have as much depth to it as the other fighters and has a god-awful online, but what really did it in was announcing UMvC3.
I’m looking forward to it, but it killed any desire to pick up MvC3 again until the new hotness gets here.
btw, i’m hitting the lab real hard to try and get some of this rust off. Hopefully I can actually start putting up a fight at these things. Lemme know if you plan on doing any casuals this week, thomas. After today, I’ve got the rest of my afternoons free this week.

MK is getting pretty big out here more people want to play. From what I saw MVC3 is just not liked all that much out here, people have tried to like it but they just think its boring. Now here’s what you and the community as a whole can do. Go to a highly populated area(a school, college, shopping center) and post up a flyer(I’m about to finish one, I will send it to you) with Battle of the Gods on it and try to get more people hype for it. Tell them they can make money just by playing MVC3. Your best places are colleges.
LOL thats a good idea…but im a little old to be on college campus posting up stuff. Also, did you know that its illegal? there is actally a $100 fine per flyer. I shit you not! You have to get permision from the school. In general I would stay away from Government and State Property. On the other hand Malls, Mcdonalds, video game stores ect. should be alright as i seriously doubt they will press charges. Send me the flyer and i will put it up where i can. breadwp@gmail.com.

That’s cool and I really meant for you to get a college student to do all promoting stuff. Until then just try to make friends at MTG or Yugioh events or something like that and tell them about it. Don’t worry about MVC3 getting removed it will stay until UMVC3 comes out which I will expect to be the rebirth of MVC3

I actually enjoy watching MVC3 matches because it gets so crazy. I just can’t get into playing it though. SF4AE isn’t the greatest game either but everyone seems to like it so I play it a little. MK is fun but it gets boring after a while. TTT2 is the new hotness.
It was fine going 360 to PS3. Not sure if it’s as good the other way. I was able to plink and do everything else fine at the tourney.
