I need a little help here with Strider in UMVC3, ive been playing online and everytime someone uses strider they spam the same tactic.
I’m not quite sure what the move is called but it’s the move where he disappears and then appears above you and does a dive kick of some sort.
My question is how do I punish it after block? After I block it, Strider seems to recover before I can attack him. I’ve tried with multiple characters and if I try to attack him it’s a free combo for him. I’ve tried to push block it, but smart players just repeat and eventually I get crossed up not to mention it lets him control the match.

That strider tech probably only works online. I’ve played people that do that too.
With Dormammu, lay a flame carpet down so strider can’t get in. or, chaotic flame as soon as you see him teleport, it might catch him before he disappears. We should try it offline sometime, you spam vajra while I attempt to counter that strategy
Yeah we sure do… I need practice against x-23 and deadpool. X-23 has a lot a setups that seem safe, but i think they are only online too. Deadpool I need help with pinapple suprize spamming
As far as strider goes…Yeah… I know how to stop it pre block. Dorm standing M -> anything. Punishes it pretty well. But when you are forced to block it, it really sucks if they are a smart player.

Purification spam a pineapple surprise spammer if they are super jumping back and spamming pineapple surprise. Pineapple surprise blocks forward ground horizontal movement. If deadpool is spamming pineapple surprise from normal jump height, normal jump and do a dark hole where deadpool is at. If you have life lead, just super jump, air dash up, activate flight mode and run the click make deadpool come to you!
I love deadpool, pineapple and gun spamming works good against people with no teleport and no good zoning tools themselves.
