Arthur gets bullied, let’s not bullshit. Otherwise, there would have never been something like this posted:
I have never, ever seen anybody in the last 10 years say, “Hey, maybe we should back off of this guy” until that moment, and I know first hand how bad the abuse can get. That spoke volumes of how much y’all fucked with Arthur. He has his problems, but a lot of y’all need to learn that when somebody is upset by something that is said that the correct response is not, “Fuck you I gave you a nickel, it’s your fault.” Sometimes it’s meant in good fun and Arthur doesn’t exactly help his cause by popping off, but he’s not so much as talking shit as much as he’s trying to fit in with all of the shit talkers. I cannot even begin to fathom how ignorant it is to see y’all yell at the victim and attack him for finally fighting back. Especially knowing how y’all are extremely shitty with Arthur when you’re not trying to tell him how to play video games (and that’s if you’re capable of doing that without being an asshole and rolling your eyes at him). He gets treated like the little brother of the scene.

Pretty much everyone outside of you and Shawn, seeing as you were the only two to try and ask the man “What happened?” instead of being 100% butthurt by Arthur saying, “FUCK EVERYONE! Well, not everyone.”
Look at what just happened here: that’s not normal. It’s not normal for somebody to storm out of a session and lash out like that. Those are the actions of an individual that has been pushed to the edge by other people over an extended period of time.
Yet people here want to attack Arthur, who doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, because he said “FUCK EVERYONE.” Those are the only two words of his post that a majority of the folks here read and cared about, which to me is selfish and silly. Here’s a person that is obviously very upset because of things that have been said to him, that even clarified that he didn’t mean the collective everybody. There’s nothing to discuss. The discussion ended with, “stormed out of a session and lashed out.” At that point, all posturing needed to cease and desist. The only thing that needed to happen was that everybody should have gone to Arthur themselves in an attempt to clear up anything, just like you two did. I don’t think there should’ve been any focus on his lashing out, as it should be understood that when people get pushed too far they pop. That’s it. The victim shouldn’t have to say, “Hey, let’s have a discussion.” I’ve seen the, “Let’s talk about this in person” stuff on here before, and in my experience at least it results in the offending party adamantly denying any wrongdoing while onlookers pressure the victim to “squash it” without any type of resolution being achieved.
Idk wtf is goin on with community at the moment but just to let ya know I’m not gonna be gaming as often. I’m trying to focus more on college and getting more promotions and raises at work. The problem is that this is a video game forum not a place to bring personal issues and push them onto other people. Video games, not real life. None of this makes any sense. Everyone has personal issues and problems but only a few choose to bring them here. It isn’t anyone’s job to psycho analyze people’s posts. There are professionals out there that get paid a lot of money to do that. That goes for anyone who wants to cry about hurt feelings over video games as well. Nothing has happened in this forum that wasn’t video game related, but I keep hearing the word respect being tossed around in reference to video games. I respect hard work, education and productivity. I don’t respect video game skills. Sorry! So if your waiting for video game respect your going to be waiting a long time. Do something productive with your life and I’ll be the first to give you kudos and everyone here knows this. I try to encourage you guys to do better for yourselves. Some of you won’t but the ones who do I’m genuinely happy for you. Some of you guys have let video games completely screw up your lives and cause you not to live up to your potentials. Then you treat these game situations like they are real life scenarios. It is time to do some growing up guys. Get your lives in order. Not just financially, but mentally as well. No one has been attacked personally in this forum. No one has been disrespected in this forum. This is a video game forum. We talk about videos games here not your personal issues. If you guys can’t get your head wrapped around that then you need to be working on your personal mental issues and not be spending so much time playing games. This is not the Psychiatrist’s chair. Difference between an open environment and closed enviroment: an open enviroment is when asshole want to cross the line and broadcast the individual personal business with group of people and take shots at the person and make them feel like shit and worthless. A closedenviroment is when the person tell a group of trusted friends about situations IE relationship, life etc etc. the individual trust them and won’t broadcast it with different people. The shit u did last night wasn’t in a trusted enviroment you said it I got lit up and I was pissed off because of it. Hence on why I keep certain things to myself.

Arthur we are all your friends, and if you want to get help we all will and have tried to help you get good… Like JV said Drew posted stuff about Tekken that could have helped you, and Shawn is working with you… For AE we all know that game, and IMO your offense isn’t bad but your defense is. So if you need help with it just let me or anyone know, and moving forward I will point out your faults so you can get better.

I know u, Shawn, and JV is helping me but it take awhile to soak it in. Heance the learning disability for gaming is major barrier for me. grant it half the shit I do is a fuck up. IE shoryken is blocked and I forgot to FADC. Minor things like that I force to myself to remember.

Alright guys it’s getting a little soggy in here. People are leaking all over the thread. Like I said this is a video game thread. Not a psychiatrists couch. I feel like I’m listening to some chick talk to her boyfriend or something. If you got some issues that seem to be bothering only you then go deal with them. If no one else seems to care then it’s probably your personal problem. Can’t expect everyone to be sympathetic about problems no one else has. Majority rules. If you have a group of people and a small minority has an issue then it usually gets swept under the rug. That’s just part of adult life. Sometimes you have to deal with your own issues. If your spending more time then not pissed off and/or explaining yourself to people your probably wrong or weird or both. Lets move on people and get back to the whole point of this forum.
