I agree… wait, I think that means I hate myself and my own poor Juri play. O___O
I’m more bored of seeing Team Bro-love (Ryu <3 Ken) than hating them at this point, because there’s just… not a lot to expect from the team. I know what they generally want to do, nothing clever about it, no new combos or resets or “oh that was sick” moments.
On the other hand, I actually enjoy seeing/playing a good Akuma and a good Sakura.
I really hate Rufus, can’t stand the character’s gameplan or his design.
I really like watching Marduk
Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Kazuya are all characters I enjoy from a story/design/mechanics perspective. However their popularity and derp play potential make them so incredibly overused that I’ve grown to hate playing against them. I’ve played against Ryus and Kens for literally multiple decades now (on and off of course as I’m pretty casual) and while I recgonize they are brand power and they need to be in the game, I get pretty pissed when I play the 59th shoto team in a row. Mind you some of this salt is because of how amazingly free Hugo is against good shotos in this game and I was starting Hugo for quite a while.
On the subject of Hugo… yes, he can be annoying. He’s a high risk/high reward character and when those rewards pay off for someone who you feel you outplayed, he can be frustrating. I know I’ve stolen wins from better players because I happened to catch them in a lucky set up and drained 60% of their bar in a fairly braindead manner. That’s Hugo’s game and he occasionally lets you noob a win out or guess right and do massive damage. Of course the balance of that is that most times he simply can’t do anything against solid play becuase of his extremely limited toolbox. Sigh. It’s my Makoto all over again.
Characters I actually hate: Guile, Vega, Raven, Dhalsim, Chun Li, Heihachi, Rufus. Each of you die. Go.
Characters I really like: Juri, Hugo, Abel, Bryan, Sagat, Cody. I really like the design of Asuka and Lili and enjoy watching good players use them but have not really been brave enough to touch them myself yet.

The op is supposed to lead by example and never explained why he liked the characters he hated so I figure what the hell…why not just express my hatred for these said characters. If it helps I hate Marduk too but I’d like to be able to play efficiently with him.

I like: Juri, Hwoarang, Guy, Elena, Dudley, Rolento, Ibuki, Poison, Bryan, Lei, Christie, Asuka, Julia, Jin, Heihachi, Nina*
*Didn’t get to try them out online much yet.
Juri will be a lot more likeable if she’s just a tsundere instead of a psychotic megabitch like I-No.
Hate: Dhalsim, Zangief, Rufus, Guile, Hugo (unless I’m using Chun or Poison, then I can zone him to no end), Sagat, every single shoto except Sakura, Vega, Bison, Rolento, BLANKA DGFHJSH (though I haven’t seen one online yet) and sometimes Juri. (because of dat damage) I also feel like I will end up hating Jack (he is already one of my least fav Tekken characters and he looks annoying in this game) and Elena.
I like and respect every Tekken character EXCEPT Heihachi. And sometimes Kazuya. They are both annoying as fuck.
I’ve always liked the supporting cast.
I really enjoy a good Balrog, Vega, King, Marduk, Yoshimitsu, Paul, Cody, Bryan & Kuma

[LEFT]Full screen flying kick. =_= Punished every single one. You’d think that at a C+ and after the first 3 punishes he’d stop. I wanted to send a friendly mail suggesting some safer ways to close space, but after his obvois angry Ken shoryu spam after his Law couldn’t do the job, I don’t think he’d respond well. I LIKE seeing people break from the norm and play the Tekken characters that aren’t Mishimas, (except Whorang) but this guy was treating it like a Blanka ball. =/[/LEFT]
Juri, Rolento, ryu. kaz, Ken, Zangief, Dhalsim, JACK , Cody these guys are annoying to deal with and Every heihachi I play no matter if its an aa or not can go into the same combo everytime…
Hate:
Zangief(all of my hate): good jabs with long range boosted into high dmg. Easy input for anti air which NEVER trades or fails if the opponent knows how to play.
Hugo: because it’s super boring. crouch block his cLKxxcMK/claps the whole time, wait till he tries to dash into throw or jump in body slam, punish both.

Ibuki: i don’t know the MU AT ALL… someone raped me hard with nice combos yesterday, that was quite awesome
Chun: i love her pokes
Cammy: Cannon Strike Mixup
Rufus: Divekick mixup
Xiaoyu: no one plays her…
Jin: I really have to concentrate against this MU.
Also hate Zangief, in SF4 vs Gif it’s lot about zoning and normals. in SFXT green hand, green hand, command grab, overhead jump in (massive hitbox), spin punch… it’s like the round starts and you get overdriven by a russian train.
I will always hate Blanka and Dhalsim…

Zangief… that stupid AB chain is dumb. I feel like I’m playing against a character with really good normals and then oh snap he has a command throw as well. Watch out!
I cannot stand Steve, fucking stupid ass character. No footsies, just throw some shit out and hope it hits. Bryan is the fucking same. Kazuya is becoming a problem, I can beat him, but the amount of stupidity he can pull irritates me. I’ve never like Sim or Blanka because they’re just stupid as characters. Bison is gey, Barlog is gey, Abel is ghey, Guile is SUPER gey, Chun is gey.
The only good characters in the game are:
