In what ways can you level up a character?
…play…the game? I queue up for matches and play. When you get to the 30 range it takes a long time to level. I’m at least 40-50 matches into 31 and I don’t think I’m half way.
Is that all it takes? Just play any mode and they eventually level up? I did all the single player with chun-li and she’s at 29. Just some more online moves it more?
Winning will get you more points; losing still yields character XP, but no fight money. So as long as you’re using the character, you’ll level up.
I’m quite interested in the Game Over Man title for Nash; but have no clue how to get it.
I think that’s survival mode.
Guess I’m not getting it then; if I play survival while connected to the network; it starts to lose framerate and appears to lag; which just pisses me off before going into a match with someone.
There are no Survival mode titles people
Expect the one you get for every character that completes Hell difficulty. The lower difficulties just unlock colors
The only title you get for completing Hell is Veteran of Veterans the first time you complete it with any character. Any other titles you happen to get are based on character level (e.g, level 30).
What do you mean? A Title is the only reward outside of fight money, for Hell mode.
I beat Hell with Vega and didn’t get a Vega title.
How do you get ‘Game over man’ for Nash?
Is there a resource somewhere explaining how you unlock which titles? I got titles for completing easy survival with Ryu and Nash but not Dhalsim.

Does anyone know what level will unlock the character master titles?
Character title unlocks are based on wins in ranked, aside from the level ones. Some people have played a lot but lose and win a lot so they don’t go up in rank due to the high lp loss for losing. This is why you see silver players with those yellow titles who are under level 35. They’ve played a lot and won a lot but also have lost and the point system keeps them there.
Anyways the number I’ve read consistently for unlocking yellow titles (with the face on them) is about 250-300 wins in ranked. Someone said they only used Ken and got it when they got the “Bam Bam Win” Trophy. I got this trophy a few days ago and I’m still grinding but I used another character and I swapped over later.
I should be very close at this point after this grinding. I have 7 other titles for my character, so I imagine it will be 50 wins or less for me.
Use this tool to look up your match history. It will take a day to update though… It should tell you your total wins thus far.

Anyone know if Birdie has any “cool” titles? Ones that refer to his chain or something? I have two or three of his and they’re all goofy. I want to main him and drop Nash to the second spot, but with all this goofiness, I just can’t.
