head over to the lili board and more so the vid section. i have uploaded a few of my vids. I’ll try to get a few more up later so you can see what lili has to offer. We need more lili players imo.
I watched one of your vids and I’m reading the character guide right now and she looks great. But how do you get around not having a reversal? That’s the only thing I can’t stand when using Ibuki. With Lili is there any way around it or do you just take it and block?
She has pretty decent wake-up options like Ex Angel Knee (if they’re not crouching) or Ex Feisty Rabbit if they are crouching. Lili also has her attack reversal which counters certain attacks depending on which button you press (or Ex if you don’t feel like guessing). She has tons of options, but they’re not as idiot-proof as mashing Shoryuken.
I’ll keep those in mind. If worst comes to worst I can just rely on a good old back dash lol.
if you can manage to get in with Ibuki on point, I would go with Asuka. On jump in Hp, which can cross up, she has a 407 point meterless combo, with can be tag cancled for easy extention. a slow, but deceptive overhead, the first half ish of the animation she is crouching. a throw that hits all standing opponents, causing 170 damage. She has an attack reversle that does 170 as well and hits all grounded attacks. Her only real issue right now is getting in and a lack of a consistent meterless antiair, as you want to use EX falling rain as you antiair. I suggest, if you go with her, set her up with three quick to activate meter gems so you can start filling her up so you has the pressure verses antiairs.
I’m down for moving Ibuki into any position. I played Asuka for a while and I hated the fact that it was so hard to get in. Other than that she’s great. I still mess around with her though. She’s really fun once she gets in.
Asuka is my main, I’m just trying to find someone that works with her to be on point. Right now I’m working with Bryan, but that may change. Actually trying out some stuff with Alicia
