So far I heard spidey web attacks like web ball and web swing are gonna be faster. His web throw is decreased in range and his spider sting is now cancelable. Plus his crawler assault is mashable now. These changes are cool, but I feel that personally they should’ve made Spidy similar to Spencer due to the fact that Spencer can wire grapple OTG opponents. Plus Spencer bounces off opponents when he connects. Spidey’s web zip only goes in 5 directions unlike Spencers whoes zip line goes in all 8 directions. We’ve seen Spidey in comics, movies and console games web zip or web yank objects, enemies or people off the ground so how much sense would it be for him to do it in UMVC€. ALSO IN marvel super heroes Spidey could stick to the wall like Felicia. We often see Strider climbing up walls or Son son actually crawling along the top of the screen, which be perfect for Spidey. A Spider sense counter attack would be cool or a spider sense hyper combo that slows down opponents and speeds up Spidey’s movements. How do I e-mail Niitsuma these concepts?
I wouldn’t start complaining about Spidey’s changes yet.
Unfortunately, almost no good Spider-man players have really played the game. I haven’t seen a single simple Spidey BnB combo being performed in UMvC3 yet. The only thing I’ve seen people test for any length of time is the OTG Web Zip, and they weren’t really good enough players to show if it was capable of anything besides going into a Maximum Spider.
We don’t really know the ins and outs of how he is yet. For all I know, he might have a wall cling and nobody has bothered to try it out yet. He’s probably the most ignored character in the game.

Can we please try to consolidate these topics? We already had a changes thread. In any case web pulling moves would be awesome. A wall crawl I think would be as useless as felicias.

Yes, there is already a changes thread and it’s long. And I plan on making it all nice and purty once umvc3 comes out and we get permanent changes. Go there.
