Amen to that Viscant. If you people don’t like the game or start hating on the game because of some small thing that you don’t like then don’t play it and stick with your pokemon or some shit.
Just don’t go and ruin it for others who are a fan of capcom/Street Fighter. And how do you people know that there isn’t dash, rolls etc? you haven’t even touched the game for fuck sakes.
UrIeNaToR-Exactly my good friend, wait for the damn game to come out ya bums.
People here are dying to resurrect and play A3 more than 3S/MvC2/CvS2. I don’t see anyone complaining about X-Ism not having enough options. Sure, it doesn’t help in CFJ’s case that the characters are restricted to fighting in their respective systems, but in A3’s case, a FEW characters were found to play at their best with X-Ism. IMO, the ST engine is more or less equally limited by player choice for both games, but given enough time, that engine could at least become just as competitive in CFJ as it was in A3, if not more. I haven’t heard a lot of bad things about it so far. Fact is, I’m more pleased that the SF2 characters deal more damage than most of the cast anyway, and I’ve read that they hit the Darkstalkers characters the hardest. So while you do indeed need to be more careful, the damage you inflict will pay off. Zangief is not exempt from this. Besides, it’s not like you’re stuck with one engine the whole frickin’ time. If he’s gonna fail at kicking Jedah’s ass, he could always fuel the meter for your counter character next round.
Gunter: Then what about Ryu? What I take from your post is that some characters have an unfair advantage because they have an evolved system as compared to say, the ST characters. But then, Ryu and Bison are beastin in this game with their less-evolved system. Correct me if I’m wrong.
^ I’m with Yagami on this one. Characters like Ryu, Guile and Bison are beasts in this game, yet Hauzer and Nool(with all of their advance system) are like crapola.
Im just curious… had Capcom not merged with the SNK series… where would SF be today…
Besides SF3 series where and super jump was first introduced…
A3 was really the last real SF… and in that game there was no Roll, Run, Dash, Superjump, etc etc… thats what we are all use to now because of the SNK versus games…
majority of these new systems that people are suggesting that have been missing in CFJ has really just come from SNK games that was just implemented in SF games…
SF has always had the higher interest base in America way before rolling dashing and superjumping… in fact… the worst series for most SF player has been the SF3 series because of parry system that capcom tried out… yes SF3:3s has now become popular after many years of players complaing about the game… it seem that the majority of players that likes a SF game with real gameplay and very little to do with gimmicky tricks…
while im sure because of the lack of roll/dash/etc for the SF character might make the game feel slower… thats what is in reality SF had originated from and what I think the real fans of the game like… a down and dirty game that really focus on footwork positioning and strategy and less on using invinciblity from v-ism combos and a-groove custom combos…
If people recalled the a lot of people started to dislike A3 once people started to find how OVER powering for the most part V-sim was especially for certain characters… in CvS2 roll canceling the lack of variety of A-groove character that made the game really boring …
this game is going back old school in the respect that those gimmicky grooves isnt going to get u the win… instead it will require some sort of strategy and real gameplay to make the player win games…
I play with Hauzer all the time. I should have been soften the word… but it’s always an uphill battle against Ryu, Bison, Guile and Zangief when you use Hauzer and Nool despite Hauzer and Nool having Advance systems.
Umm there is run in the game and i think roll also,on one of those vids it shows Leo running in it,and i’m sure the street fighters have dashs.
And how can some of you say that this game looks slower then cvs2 or another stf,did you not see how quick bison was pulling out those combos?and any other character for that matter. The games speed is exactly like cvs2 and you can always fix it on the option screen when it’s released for console.
(Did you guys see that vid where Jedah got pounded Karin with her cutom super, fuken thing hit like 97% on his ass,too good.lol)
I love the game!! can’t wait to woop some asses, and jedah SUCKS! play guile and you can beat him no matter what… when he throws the wheel, do sonic boom, if he does a air dash, jump and kick him with a medium kick. I played a jedah player yesterday… I don’t know why you say he’s cheap, where you guys found all these non-sense about him being the best in the game? well I just want to know so I Can correct you all on it lolz by beating jedah with my guile =) or with my Bison or Mukuro ^^;; anyways this game is good, nice graphics, nice background sounds and a good set up of the game. hope you all enjoy as much as I do ^^;;
I’m actually surprised at how people are NOT complaining about Jedah’s ability to make you block an aerial ES Dio = Cega, then snatch you out of blockstun with either his Finale = Rosso or Purova = De’i = Cervo…either he can’t do that in this game, or nobody uses that tactic…
You know, most of my friends that I’ve talked to seem to agree, Capcom needs to stop with these bullshit anniversary games and just make a new god damn fighting game.
I mean, if you really want me to be frank, I’d rather their asses not make these half assed games and piss people off. If they can’t put a decent effort into making a new fighting game, then don’t make one. These half assed efforts just discourage people to continue playing fighting games because the games have no longevity and suck.
I don’t get how Namco, a company that doesn’t have titles like Resident Evil and Megaman to pull in millions, can put so much effort into redesigning each of their fighting games, testing them, creating new features, and marketing it.
I mean Tekken 5 has been getting play tested over and over till they feel they have a good final version. The game is redesigned with a new system. Namco does All this AND HOSTS AN OFFICIAL NATIONAL TOURNAMENT.
While Capcom seems to just seems to try to make “new” fighting games with some excuse to use their old sprites. I think it comes down to Namco seems to respect its fighting game fans more than Capcom. As far as I see it, the way Capcom doesn’t back SRK at all or do anything of the sort, goes to show how much they shit on their fighting game fans. And in the end, all its doing is killing the community.
So honestly, if CFJ does suck, I hope people don’t put a cent more into the game or buy copies just because “there’s nothing better coming out”. If Capcom doesn’t have enough respect for their fans to make a decent game after 3 years, there is no reason for me to spend my money.
Capcom just wants your money! Plus the CEO of Capcom probably doesn’t speak a word of english to care! Also, do you really think the president of Capcom USA makes any decisions regarding to their products?
Cen… you might be sarcastic, but I’m inclined to believe what I said, because Namco seems to put much more effort into their games (and with more results). Capcom doesn’t even make any effort whatsoever to back SRK or promote their fanbase. At least Namco runs national tournaments. I don’t see how Namco can afford to do all this if fighting games are a dying industry, while Capcom makes one game in 344123412341 years and recycles just about everything (sprites) in it and barely markets it whatsoever.
His down(charge), up+punch has excellent priority. It beats alot of moves based on my matches. But unfortunately, it has horrible recovery time. It it’s block your opponent will be able to retaliate with combos, even if the oppoenent is far away.
His poke(Roundhouse)has like halfscreen range. But still it has no priority, since It has been beaten by alot of normals. Your best bet would be c. roundhouse since it hits low, fast and has like half screen range. The same could be said to his jumping roundhouse.
Fireball goes for almost 3/4 screen. Never use it much since it comes out slow.
I zone with him with his c. roundhouse and sometimes his fireball. If they jump or do anything, I use Hauzer’s buttsplash, since it beats anything(base from my matches). The only time Hauzer would die it seems if his opponent has manage to get in his face. Almost he has no options in close range aside from Ultimate Guard. His supers are ass, it doesn’t have invincibility frames at all. Never rely on them anyway.
My 2 cents. I’ll try to use him again next time I play. I havent been able to fully utilize Hauzer’s full potential though. Maybe this is just icing on the cake.
This is coming from a Gief player, just so you know.
Gief can’t do shit from the air because Nool’s Psycho Crasher shit and his spinny thing(with the swirls of water around him) fucks his air game up, and Nool outpokes him on the ground. And this is just off of the CPU Nool, who doesn’t do too much. I’ve faced one dude who fills in the blanks of AI idling with random tenticles and other shit. I had to use Karin to beat him. =/
