Sheesh – It’s about time!
I’ve been out in Irvine and cramming for my midterms on the days I normally visit the Game Room this past week. I’m fine now. So unless something unexpected happens, you can find me practicing it up in the late afternoon from Monday through Wednesday.

where exactly is it? Like what is the building called, i looked at the map and i dont see game room, maybe im blind ill check again. I actually use to go there for some night classes so i knw the campus fairly well.
btw, i go to cal poly. i use to play at that arcade and sometimes AI, but i got sick of some of the ppl there. looking for some moderate comp trying to get into third strike, im decent, i just started this year.
Oh and about the random players, im not hating on any of them cuz if i lose to them its after a 10+ win streak when they finaly get lucky enough to where i do a shoulder with yun from accross the screen but before they even see the move they are already doing a short range super from and my shoulder which i do sometimes for zoning purposes runs right into it ironic enough it kills me, then i lose but its funny as hell tho.
And I also would like to ask any of the csulb players when at least 5 of them are available to play.
That’s because the Game Room is located in the ID Center, as Rakukojin clearly pointed out in his post. So look at the map again and find the ID Center (hint: it’s near the C-2 Parking Lot).
I don’t know what the competition is like over there nowadays, but I can’t possibly think that the competition here is any better than Cal Poly Pomona (no disrespect, Cerritos). You guys got a variety of games to play, good-condition joysticks, great arcade maintenance, and tournaments with good turnout. Surely the players there got some game, right?
Cerritos only has 3S on showcase, which cost two quarters to play and one quarter to continue, mediocre sticks, no stools, and lousy maintenance…
I think I speak for everyone when I say that the only reason why we play here is because it gives us something to do in-between our class schedule.
If you still insist on coming here, then that’s cool. I’m just being totally frank and forewarning you.

hah yah i figured… well im down in the cerritos area anyway so i figured I’d check out since it’s my hometown and all. Well anyways, im not expecting much, just wanted to play for fun, and im only decent at 3s as I started playing only this year.
pomona does have some great comp, and the arcade is beautiful but i figure id migrate out of there sometime, plus i rarely have time for leisure on campus since im a 4th year student. i spend my breaks in cerritos since my parents are there.

Wtf? a reputation, lol. Anyways, I fought some Alex guy that I know I fought at cerritos, at regency tonight. I kept fighting this Random Asian Guy, (or RAG), and the loveable 30 something guy that always picks hugo and does random ass shit and starts yelling when he loses…i was like jabbing and poking most of the round…anyways, by that time I got to that alex foo i was like WTF someone that knows how to do shit, and lost miserably since I wasn’t expecting anything from anyone on a tuesday night at regency…i only went there with one coin, so I apologize for leaving.
I can’t believe FIVE whole people want to fight me…that’s crazy…if I was real pimp i wouldn’t show up and leave ya’ll hanging…but i’m not real pimp so I wont.
Oh yea, lazy foo, do you do any other type of programming? VB, C#, C++, JAVA? Just wondering cause i saw your signature and went to your site, i do programming shit too. Just wondering what other stuff you did.
I suppose that’s a true testament of Cerritos competitiveness. When we heard that some crazy Remy player came down here and wiped us clean…well, we all now want a piece of that, even if it means getting completely raped in the process – for some of us. Others will fair well against you, I think. At the very least we’ll walk away with some experience and afterthought to reflect upon.
We’re all looking forward to playing against you this Thursday.

Well as you saw on my site I specialize in C++ game programming with SDL/OpenGL.
I haven’t touched C# yet, I use Java for quick and dirty apps and they teach data structures in java here. I avoid VB like a plague. I also do some php like the announcement script on my site.
It wasn’t random. I’m just so unpredictable even I don’t know the moves I’m going to make. :wgrin:
Oh ok, that’s koo. I’m not really fond of VB, but we’re forced to use it at times. I try to stick with C# as my weapon of choice.
