Alright, RE: @truendymion’s comments and other comments like it we’ve received, we’ve decided to change things up.

The question we get asked the most through our contact form is whether or not donations come with access to the final game. The team got together and decided that going forward, if you donated on the $10+ or $15+ levels you will be receiving a final copy of the game. The donations are no longer restricted to prototype/alpha/beta access.

Anyone who bought in at those levels is considered a super early bird. When the prototype releases in a couple of weeks, the price of access for new early birds will increase to $12 and $17 respectively. The price will raise at each major milestone (alpha and beta) until we hit our final MSRP at release.

After taking a look at campaigns similar to ours it seems our original concerns of being turned away by a publisher because of pre-sales is unfounded, and we want to give back to our community for being absolutely incredible. If you haven’t donated yet, now is the time before the prototype comes out!

How about opening a discord server?

We have a server but access is limited to donors.

A couple ideas:
-The witch should have some cool magical effects on her special moves
-Her super could summon a demon for the killing blow
-Have her turn into a cat for winpose
-Something with broom. You know that rising kick attack almost looks like you could tweak the pose a bit so she comes down riding a broom…

Wow man this game looks so sick I will definitely be the worst player of all time on it because I will be far too busy skanking out to the music on it I might even make a vid about it. Imma hustle some exposure for dis definitely

Been following this silently, but I guess it’s good to give some words of encouragement. So, you know, good on you dudes. While the 2v2 mechanics are kind of breaking my brain a bit (then again, since I have trouble keeping track of assists in Marvel/Skullgirls, I guess having someone else help with it might be nice?), I’m digging the whole non-traditional Darkstalker-ish aesthetic.

what games are this game’s main influence? I’m loving the atmosphere and attempt at having personality. the soundtrack is on point but easily outclasses the visuals (but the character designs are hot). Hoping the visuals can get some more love.

anyway i second the faster walkspeed. too many new fg’s these days have ridiculously slow walk speed imo

Saw Cerebrawl in the indie showcase at ECCC this past weekend. Aaron was chill as heck when talking about the game. Wanted to try it out, but the 4 kids on the sticks were definitely having too much fun to kick off. Wishing the Cerebrawl team nothing but the best!

Next version Helen is getting an 8-way dash, fly, light beam hits OTG, new super which is ground, air and hits OTG, throw fixes, new effects, and new UI which is currently WIP. Tac Knight is also getting a lot of work in the backend.

First I’ve heard of this game. Really liking what I see so far.

Biggest problem seems to be collision. The attacks don’t seem to have much hitstop on them when making contact. That’s cool in a '90’s fighting game sort of way but still makes the game come across as cheap and a bit unrefined. This game definitely does come off as a nineties game though, kinda in the tmnt sort of vein, characters look like they are ice skating instead of walking, as an example.

Hope it gets refined a bit. Also hope it has ggpo/rollback NetCode or else it’s basically a worthless endeavour. I’ll be looking out for this game. Subscribed to thread.
