Pretty practical, Cerebella’s moves and supers can get the opponent to a corner with some ease. Her j. HK is an awesome move to use apply pressure against a grounded opponent.
the best part (that i didn’t mention) is that it works on hit or block!
aside from talking about combos and junk, what are your takes on the matchups in the game (4 days in i know but WE GOTTA START SOMEWHERE)
Personally i think her hardest matchups are parasoul and filia
Parasoul is definitely one of the hardest ones - not that hard though, she just gets the advantage, game feels really balanced. Her normals are really good, her damage is decent, j.HP beats everything, she can zone Bella to some extent.
anyone think Cerebella’s a create your own combos character instead of relying on preset combo’s she’s a brawler/grappler it’s not like she needs a certain combo to win

Man, looking at all these ridiculous combos, makes what I’m about to post look down right simple. Haha, but here goes:
Playing around with Bella in training mode, I found that I liked to utilize her standing MP to open up the floodgates for some moderately damaging combos. Needless to say, noticing that one of these combos has to be altered to work mid screen, and one is extremely situation based, they can be useful, as the MP stagger leaves you free to do what you wish for a second or two.
Combo 1: 1 meter, 5350 dmg, Corner, 17 hits
j:hk:, :mp: > cr:lk: > cr:hp: (jump cancel)
j:lp:, j:hp:(no hold) > cr:lp: > cr:hp: xx :qcf: :2p: (Diamond Dynamo)
note substitute j:hp: for j:hk: if you’re mid screen. The damage goes down by 450 to make 4900 dmg, and you only get 15 hits out of it.
Combo 2: 5451 dmg, 12 hits
:mp: > :qcb::lp::lk:(Merry Go Rilla) > cr:lk: > cr:hp: xx :dp::lp::lk: (Excellbella)
note - Start combo with j:hk: to boost damage by 1000 (6451 dmg for 13 hits)
Combo 3: This is the tricky one.

For everyone, if done in the corner, solid 6690 damage for one meter and 15 hits.

For Double and Valentine, you’ll only hit the Diamond Dynamo FOR ONE HIT from mid screen, making the total 7 hits, 5333 damage.

For Parasoul, you’ll get a 14 hitter for 6621 damage from mid screen.

For Ms. Fortune, 13 hits, 6587 damage.

As for Painwheel, Filia, and Peacock, you’re only hitting this baby in the corner. If trying from mid screen, Combo 2 would be your safer bet.

Just had an idea for cerebella/double teams if you reflect a projectile and they get staggered, you can raw tag to double and it will combo from anywhere.
I can just imagine reflecting the second half of an Argus Agony and then full comboing with Double as the Peacock player just sits there like this.

Thanks!! Very useful combo. at first i had troubles abou the j.lp j.lk j.hk, because lp and lk pushed the oppo too far, and the hk whiffed. After a bit i understood that i have to chain them very fast.but I still have problems linking the last sMp

I feel kind of bad because I thought of that combo on day one, but I herp derped and kept using the standard ground series and not ground series 2 so I got Ips’ed.

i think cere/double is the best team in the game, been using it since day 3 i think and i only lose when i make an idiotic mistake. (me making myself seem better than i am lul) someone on the double board found a redonk reset with diamond drop assist and ive been using it lately and this team just gets better and better. the dhc’s from cere to double are amazing and the hornet bomber helps cere get in safer than usual.
Soloberra is the best in the game.
Just did a match with that combo that Sage posted, and did standing strong to showstopper, pretty much 100%.
It pretty much came down to the guy not killing me while I could wreck him with a bnb.
Well, i mean i expect all of us to have uncalled for solobella skills (youfkinbetterpeople) i dont see her getting that far alone. A friend of mine and i talk about how this game will be very team of two oriented and i see it becoming true at least this early. Having an assist and an alpha counter are both two great features of the game you wont want to miss out on. solobella is beyond godlike anyway.
