An easy reset to do is this (haven’t read the whole thread, sorry if it has already been posted):
j.HK, cr.LK, cr.MP, cr.HP, j.LK, j,HK, cr.LK, st.HK (1-hit) (restands), Ultimate Showstopper.

every qcb throw can be followed up with

rock throw super, qcf.HP

midscreen and a ways away from the corner only or else they wallbounce behind you too fast. Otherwise it does more damage than dynamo

edit: does she have any invun on her Command throws?

when getting rushed down whats her best normal to throw out ?

Random tidbits

last minute j.:d::mp: can be followed up by c.:lk: but it’s tight. Should open up combos starting with glide then clap, pause, j.:d::mp:

c.:hp: JC j.:lp: (rapidfire until landed) :mp: lets you add a command throw mid combo

I’m a little perplexed by this one, it seemed to be easy on double but I haven’t got it to work on fortune at all. In the corner, merry morilla, c.:lk: :mk: :f::hp: xx anti-air command throw

corner reset: merry gorilla c.:lk: :mk: :hk:(charge back) :f:instant throw followup

you can charge and use the :mp: followup after a stagger

anywhere merry gorilla bnb (5045 1v1)

no doubt there is more damage to be had, but my execution sucks.

I don’t understand. I thought s.:mp: doesn’t stagger mid-combo? Or is it only when it’s being chained into?

Medici Shakedown (s.MP): An elbow attack from Vice-Versa that causes a stagger only if it used outside of a chain combo.

I’m having trouble connecting the j.LP on fillia. Seems like this game will have lots of character specific combos.

What is the best way to do the j. lp mash after a launcher? It seems really inconsistent whether or not I can get a followup on landing.

I am also encountering this problem, hopefully it gets answered soon.

I’ve updated my BnB post with some new info regarding character specifics.

I can’t get it reliably either unfortunately, during matches often they’ll start blocking the j.LP’s and I try a command grab when we land. I’m also playing around with other air series that can allow a relaunch, but nothing so far that can do the stagger.

I played a fillia and a valentine just now and found the run moves very useful. Against Fillia, the headbutt and butt poke both helped against trijumping. Against Valentine, I used the run to approach if she was loading a syringe, and also tried using it to cancel heavy normals to improve my poking. Beware of using it too much from range though, as they will realise that the butt poke and throw can be stuffed. I also used it to get in close and throw out the level 3, It’s a bad habit, but it’s fun when it works. In the air, valentine’s bone saw was a pain, but if you can get above her, the j.:mp: is pretty good at slapping her down.

I hope we get character subforums, cuz all these character threads are gonna get chaotic without them…

Basically from my experience you need to land as much hits as possible, specially closer to the ground.

what kind of midscreen combos have people been able to get with cerebella?

one i have is J.HK, Cr.LK-MK,J.MP-MK, St.MP ,merry go , (walkforwards) Cr.LK, St.MK locknload (L) xx Spinny arms super.

does about 6000 something damage, im not at my xbox atm. the spinny arms super used to whiff a lot until i started adding the walkforwards part. now i just need to get the hang of the cancel part since you connect rught with the edge of the fist. you can get this to 8000 with a DHC as well

edit : just got back and confirmed this does about 6700 dmage. ove been trying to work out something from her cross up wallbounce move as well.

2 moves I’ve been randomly doing and can’t figure out.

The first is a throw where my arms wrap around my enemy, and I sit on their shoulders and slap them in the face. Can’t figure out how to do this consistently.

The second is where I go thru the enemy on the ground, end up on the other side, and then punch in the air for a wall bounce. Can’t figure out how to do this consistently either.

Please help:)
