Oh, i forgot to mention one thing about the advanced install. It’d be super nice if there was an extra set of VCC/GND points to go to the 360 board, it’s not crazy important you can just use the same pads as are next to the outbound usb out, but if you ever revise the board and can squeeze them in there, it’d be nice.

There already is. Check the 2x3 throughhole matrix thats used for programming the chip. One’s a gnd and ones a vcc.

If you do the ‘remove resistor’ trick you can use the USB cable already attached to the 360 pcb. That means you won’t need to hack the extra VCC & GND points.

you know, i was thinking of checking one of those. And then I remembered that my multimeter was in my car, and I just soldered to other pads lol.
once the cold boot detection is fixed, this will be my go to board for doing 360>ps3 mods, super nice product.

Sorry about that, I have it fixed afaik but the S+S=H on the 360 side is giving me shit (trying to implement something fancy for the disabling, so it’s breaking it lol). Whether or not I finish that secondary stuff I’ll put up a firmware for you to grab that has the cold boot fix by Friday afternoon… would do it tonight but I’m going to a gathering right after work.

Yeah the ISP spots can work as double for that for now. I’ll look at adding another VCC/GND solder pad each, but they’ll likely be right next to the original ones anyway.

And like Gahrling said, with the resistor bypass you only need the one set. Having the extras for non-TE based installs would help of course.

Quick question, is it supposed to automatically go to the 360 pcb when you plug it into a PC? There seems to be no button combination to force it into Cerberus mode, or at least none that are working for me

Nope, should go straight into Cerberus mode on PC… which windows version you have? I dunno why but that would require it to present itself as a 360 to the Cerberus.

Currently there is no “force PC/PS3 mode” since it really shouldn’t require it but hey that’s what the bootloader is for. I’ll add that in the future official release too. Maybe have LP = 360 and LK = PC/PS3 forced modes.
